Fun App
Cmcmahan

This is a great app for young kids to work on matching skills. I like the number of categories to choose from and being able to choose the difficulty level. Kids will have fun playing this for hours. I did find that some of the backgrounds for objects are too close in color which makes it hard to discriminate especially when some of the objects are used twice but with different backgrounds. For example, in the animal category a monkey is used twice, but the backgrounds for the 2 pair is so close in shading it's hard to tell the difference. If you use the same object, either make the backgrounds completely different, or reverse the object so they don't appear to e the same. I would also like a way to turn off the music. It gets annoying after a while.

Adapts to ability and intersts
Fairyflight3

I really like that you can have two players of different abilities playing each other in this app. My son tends to play with 12 cards against my daughter using 20 cards. I even find it challenging at times when playing with the flowers making it a fair game between my children and me. On occasion if two players finish right after each other it does have a little trouble by anouncing one win and then it restarts the game before immediatly anouncing the second win and starting a new game again. If you have already started playing the next game in a race against your sister then this can sometimes frustrate you and sometimes be funny. My kids like getting to pick out which pictures they are going to use instead of the same images all the time.

Great App
zekerfreaker

Vibrant colors, assorted card styles to choose from, plus a split screen that allows each player to be on a different level of difficulty all combine to make this something the kids will love! I have nothing but praise for this app. Guaranteed hours of fun ( and learning ) for ages 4 to 100. The developers have given us yet another favorite way to pass our time. Spread the word....this is a must have app! A+++

Fun matching
SLPMCA

A really fun matching app. Simple and easy fun that you and your kids can enjoy. There are a lot of categories to choose from and 8, 12, or 20 cards to choose from and you can choose to have one or two players. I have to agree with the other reviewer who asked that the music be able to be turned off. Other than that, this app is great!

Lots of fun!
tracyfernandez

The many options make for hours of fun. Two player is great and independent play. It would be nice to see turn taking as we struggle with that conception our house. Choices of cards and number of cards keep it challenging for two players of different abilities. Another winner from Ellie's games!

Perfect for playing together!
someone alive 123

Love two-player mode! I can play with 12 or 20 cards while my 6yo plays with 8, perfect for playing against each other. Love all the card options, some are harder than others for more challenge. Best matching app I've tried!

"Matching". For kids by Ellie
Norwood526

Concept good but too difficult to get to "settings" and turn off the music. The sounds are irritating and take from the fun of the game.

Annoyed by sound
vegasvaxation

Great except for the sound! Can turn off music (not that annoying) but not the sound of the cards flipping. Turning the sound down on my device doesn't even work. Very annoying! Won't play again until this is fixed.

Can't mute sound
cb60089

Can't mute sound. Can only mute music. Have to slide the iPhone mute switch on side of phone to make this app silent. Incredible app if they could add option of no sounds.

Great memory game for all!

Recently I read a study that found that young children who play memory type of games are less likely to develop ADD/ADHD. This is a great choice for young kids because of the choices offered. Start out with 8 cards and move on up. Super easy to use! Just what it says... A memory game with lots of card choices to mix it up! Choose between 8, 12 or 20 cards. You can also play with one or two players. I imagine this could also be good for older grandparents who may be needing to play memory games to ward off dementia.
