This app was designed primarily to get people who desire to learn a new language but don’t know how to go about learning it to spend money. This app doesn’t explain why certain words are used in certain places before or after other words. Also with Hindi, there is no explanation on Devanagari. This app is not designed for one to learn. I am thoroughly unimpressed with this.

I loved this app before the update. I use it for learning French and Spanish. I try to get a perfect score before moving on to the next lesson. Since the update, some of the answers are now covered by the big blue button on the bottom which prevents you from being able to touch the correct answer thus making it impossible to answer the question correctly. Some lessons are almost impossible to complete because so many answers are covered up making you not able to finish the response completely. It is so frustrating to use now. I don’t understand how this issue has not been fixed yet. This went from being a 5 star amazing app to a 1 star poorly designed frustrating experience that I paid for. Please fix this so I can go back to loving this app.

I’ve only been using Mondly for approximately 1 week, but I’m not a novice when it comes language learning tools. I love how Mondly has a conversation component to their app that allows you to practice actually using the material that you’re learning and have learned, in real life replication. For me, being conversational in my target language, is my goal and this is a wonderful tool to simulate the experience of conversation without the inexplicable pressure of being in front of a live person where your nerves seem to magically swallow all of your knowledge. With this type of practice, the likelihood of your nerves getting the best of you, once you have the opportunity for face to face interaction, are minimized because it isn’t as foreign of an experience. (Pun intended...LOL) Bravo Mondly!

Best app for learning Czech. I’ve used just about every language learning app there is in the App Store and this one is gold! On top of just learning vocabulary the chat bot is actually flexible in which vocabulary words you use or speak and recognizes it. You are actually able to speak to the chat not rather than text and hear yourself playback in conversation to see how fluid you sound. Also you are able to view words and their conjugations too which is extremely useful when getting deeper in another language. Those are only a few of many more great features this app has to offer.
