Doesn't work

Trying to cancel my account and follows instructions, but it keeps telling me to visit their site? Not on the app! Annoying and doesn't really work

This is the best LDS dating app

Now, unfortunately, that’s not saying much, as there is little competition for our market and very few apps. So like it or not you’re kinda stuck. You won’t be able to communicate unless you pay, only browse profiles. Oddly some reviewers seem shocked by this, but that’s about par for the traditionally skinflint LDS population. Lol! Pros: Biggest number of potential matches as LDSPlanet has the most members, by far. When set up correctly and profile completely filled out, this gives you some powerful search options, but it’s certainly not Google. The app can’t search nearly as well as the website, but provides more matches for you to look through, with the website limited oddly enough to a maximum of 42 matches for any given search. Cons: No landscape mode. Profile can’t be edited via app. Can’t cancel service via the app. This app has clearly been ported over to the LDS dating market from their main non-LDS app, as there are some clear giveaways, like a toggle for smoker or non-smoker. The app isn’t smart when it comes to remembering your preferences and will continually present you with the same matches despite the fact you aren’t acting upon them. Blocking other users is the only way to get it to be selective, which is harsh and tedious. Profile picture order viewed on the app is reversed from the order they are entered and viewed via the website. All in all, you’d best get on this site and use this app until something better comes along, like The Church making a registry that would accurately state whether someone is actually a member and whether they have a current recommend. So yeah, don’t hold your breath for that. Get on the Planet, warts and all.

Dishonest developers trying to take your money.

This trash app is full of “bots” (fake accounts) and is designed to take your hard earned money by withholding every feature needed to make the app actually work. Developers are dishonest liars.

DO NOT USE

Fullster1983

The app is the worst type of spam someone else as an app can get. I bought into it and immediately regretted my decision. DO NOT GET THIS APP!!!!

Not worth it

This site has no regard for your “preferences.” You will get “matched” with people 20 years older/younger than you’ve selected, blocked people still pop up in your feed and your matches. You will get “I’m interested in you” messages but when you reply, 9 times out of 10 they are surprised because they never messaged you! As soon as your subscription runs out, you will get several “views” and “I’m interested in you” messages, but you have to pay to see who even sent them. Then once again, they usually state they never sent the message. Plus this site hides messages. I had someone find me on Facebook and said they thought I was rude in reading their messages and not responding. When I explained I never received their messages, they sent me a screenshot of the messages they sent me. This is a crap site and so not worth your money!

Needs a tutorial. Badly.

The app was fine, but when swiping to show interest, I thought I was just building a profile and helping the software learn about me. It turns out that messages were send directly to everybody that I swiped over–and for every time I swiped–which for some people, meant that they got unintentional messages several times a day from me that I had no intention of sending! A detailed tutorial for first time users, and maybe an option for a refresher course would be nice! In the meantime, I’m too embarrassed to keep the app. Apologies to anybody who was creeped out by me! It was not intentional!

Don’t even try this site

Ewwvee

I tried to unsubscribe this site but I simply cannot find this option. They only options you have on settings about their subscription are the prices to renew your subscription, but you cannot find the UNSUBSCRIBE button. I spent so many hours trying to figure out how to unsubscribe and I only wasted my time, I felt completely frustrated and angry. I received a notification in my e-mail that my subscription will expire soon, and I am afraid if they’re gonna charge me for that because I DON’T WANT TO RENEW MY SUBSCRIPTION!!!!!!! So, if you’re thinking of trying to meet people on this site, please, make up your mind ... that’s my advice to you.

Frustrating, But there are no other choices.

Touring Biker from Phoenix

I am exceedingly frustrated with this site, but because of the sad state of the LDS dating world, there really aren’t any other viable choices. I hate that judgements are made based in shallow things like photos. I hate that the same potential matches are sent to me day after day, even though I have already indicated that I am not interested. I hate that inane ‘flirts’ and comments are sent in my behalf to others, without my choice, knowledge, or approval, just because I looked at a profile or clicked on a photo. I especially hate that a fair percentage of the men on this site are not even LDS, and I therefore would not choose to meet them for coffee or a drink, or otherwise date them. That said, I know a handful of people who have met and married through online dating. I continue to pay for and use this app only I because there is a very remote chance it could result in success. It’s a long shot, but as I said before, there are no other viable choices.

Don’t get this app.

Thepollo

I purchase this app for 6 moths and I canceled the renew but this crocks still pull $54 out of my account. And there is no way to contact them. There is no option for it. This means they just going to pull money as many times they like. Don’t get the app. There is a lot of fake profiles, and fake people. This is a scam all they want is your money.
