Poorly designed app
Cheap Player
This app won’t let you exit tutorial til you get to the end and won’t let you get to the end without mimicking moves they want you to do flashed rapidly across screen. And, it’s a two player game that won’t let you play via pass and play with two players. Not a fun experience at all.

I bought the board game first, learned how to play, and then introduced Latice to my family and friends who all bought the board game as well. We were beyond excited to discover that there was a Latice app. We all downloaded the app and play each other while we are working or doing other activities. We love that when we’re limited for time, we can start a game, play a few moves and then play subsequent moves either minutes, hours or even up to 7 days later. I highly recommend both the board game and app!

This is a great game! Fun, addictive, with great “staying power”. The app, on the other hand, makes me want to tear out my hair! It freezes/crashes constantly. If I try to go “back” to the home screen, it hangs. Every. Single. Time. Then, periodically some annoying ad or request to link to FB will pop up, covering the play button. The only way to continue is to quit (discarding your moves) and re-start. They also keep introducing ever-tinier and more intricate designs for the new tile sets, to the point where it is nigh-on-impossible to play without a magnifying glass. I could go on, but I expect by now you get the idea. Would that these folks could work the bugs out of their code, because the game (have I mentioned?) is excellent.

This has quickly become one of our favorite board games; my fiancée and I have had many fun, strategic moments while playing Latice. It's such a streamlined and straightforward game, and very easy to learn but difficult to master. We always laugh when we play, as the game is just so fun. I love having this app because we can now play on the road, or on the airplane. The app is a great port of the board game, and we have had no issues with it at all. Thank you Adacio!
Extremely poor UI implementation

The board game this app is based on may be good, but the UI for this app is so bad I couldn't tell. It appears the hit boxes for where you are supposed to tap are well below where you actually want to put pieces and on the second part of the tutorial I couldn't figure out where to tap at all to advance to a next screen. Also aside from the poor UI, there are awful stilted text to speech voice-overs that read the displayed text to you. I'm not sure if you can turn them off, but I recommend playing the game muted, unless you want to hear a snake that doing a very robotic impersonation of Arnold Schwarzenegger (which maybe you do?) I downloaded this app for free and already have buyer's remorse.
