This app is junk there for making the drive junk. I have had a problem loading the this drive. Now this app crashes every time it opened. Don't buy LaCie fuel external drive because the app won't work and it will become a paper weight. This product has been out long enough to figure out that there app doesn't work. Negative five star rating wasn't available so one star it is.

It's a disaster app! It has no usability at all! My videos got thumbnails of random photos from library. WiFi speed can not be named as speed! I would call it WiFi slowness! When I open iPhone .mov videos it stops few time to upload content nevertheless my iPad lying next to hard drive! It's worst app that I've ever seen

As others have said, you can't stream iTunes movies. Also I noticed a degradation in photo resolution when downloading from the drive to my phone. Garbage, useless any other adjective you can think of. I returned the drive the next day.

You have been promising to solve the problem with apple regarding playing iTunes purchased videos for months now. The LaCie Fuel is worthless . If there was rating less than 1 star, I would have chosen it.

Like the other reviewers, I'm having trouble getting my iTunes media OFF my iPhone. I haven't even tried movies yet... I have a pile of purchased and downloaded music. So far it won't budge off my phone. My copious photo collection flew from my phone to the hard drive in a flash as did Drop Box. It seems we have to lug our music around in our phone...or pay Apple to manage it. The issue with iTunes movies doesn't irk me so much. I'm not bothered about keeping them in the Cloud. I watch them at home...exclusively over wi-if. Apple owes a lot to music, iPod owners, people who live with earbuds stuck in their head 24/7. There's nothing wrong with the app or the product. Good stuff. And I am EVER HOPEFUL that Apple will "think it over". I believe they could make this app fly ***** at the drop of a hat. Music lovers aren't keen on being a captive audience.

Finally, a way to free up the lousy 128GB's of storage on my iPad Pro! Finally, I can take all the TV shows, movies, and music videos I paid cold hard cash for WITH ME on the road... ...NOT! It's all a big f**n LIE! (I will say, the review I read was 2 years old...and the Fuel worked just fine...but Apple has no doubt decided to rape the very people who have made them very wealthy by disabling the Fuel in one of its "updates"). Don't waste your money folks. This is just a dream...ruined!
