Cool App

It takes a musical genius to create real music on this Korg App

Not worth the price.

DellGuru

You can't create your own sounds nor import anything. It's basically a music box you can mix pre existing beats with. I expected way more from Korg

Fun

Like super fun! Of course we could ask more of this App like more sounds and more depth of structure but that's not a knock, this app is a blast!

it's so so-so

Like so many Korg (and Roland and Yamaha) instruments, this app takes a Frankenstein @ the kitchen sink approach. If it provided a higher quality of much less it'd be a lot better. Many many sounds, sure; a scant handful of which sound or feel okay. The coolest snippets you create start sounding an aw-aw-awful lot alike... A gadgety gimmick, more toy then tool. I paid 10 bucks, so who's the fool?

Useful for Me

I got this because I was looking for some deep bass sounds to insert into my live show. The bass sounds ended up being okayish, but there are enough sounds in here that there's a strong chance everyone will find some that they like. I like several of the Leads, the Acoustics --while not sounding especially acoustic-- do sound interesting, and there are a bunch of the sound effects ones that I really like. Would be great if future versions were more customizable and had MIDI, but I still have to say it was well worth the price.

Great musicians tool

This app will not magically make you a professional music making machine. But if you have a basic understanding of musical scales and chord progressions you can really make some amazing sounding stuff with this app. You will need to dedicate some time into getting the hang of the interface, but once you understand everything that this app is capable of, someone is going to hand you an aux cable and you will really feel like a DJ dropping your own songs and beats. The downside is that once you've spent enough time with the app, you will start wanting more instruments and drum kits to be added in an update, but that has yet to happen. However, I still believe this app deserves the whole 5 stars because I have not once had a single regret about purchasing this app.

Great Fun

This is the one instrument I'd have to have if I was alone on a desert island and couldn't bring a jazz guitar. Great fun, doesn't have to be real serious, but could be if you had something special.

I stopped recording to write this

My patterns got ruined during an update or after deleting ancouplemofnmt own loops. Destroyed tons of music. I love it but sheesh. Lesson learned: save EVERYTHING AS AUDIO I've been making electronic music for almost 20 years. And it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say this is the most fun, creative, useful, expressive, and productive tool I've ever see hardware or software. I can't believe anyone would write any bad reviews if you're truly an electronic musician and have a brain. This thing does things, thanks to the amazing writers, that I wouldn't have come up with if it weren't for the amazing awesome timing and stretch calculator it has going on. Writers, who ever you are, and korg, I appreciate you and your hard work. If I actually ever decide to release any music it will be because of you and all the tools of yours I used.

Best $20 I've ever spent!

I've been playing guitar for 30 years and in the past I've thought of how cool an app like this could be. Just get it!! If you like to make music and you have an iPhone, this is the app!!!
