For the uninformed, the app is useless

Can not program Koogeek P1 Smart Plug to perform any animation using the Koogeek Home app. I’m sure it is possible, but I can’t figure out how. I’ve submitted a help request to Koogeek support. If I get a good response, I will reevaluate this review.
App is buggy and badly designed.

Plenty of basic iOS errors and bad UX decisions. The hardware is ok but the app deserves a complete redesign. Programming a timer to turn off “in two hours” is a pain.
Firmware Update alert never goes away

The hardware is good and works as expected. But the Firmware Update alert on Home.app never goes away after successfully updating the firmware. This is extremely annoying and a dealbreaker for me.

I have been using Koogeek P1 Smart plug for the last year or so. I now have three of them and they all work flawlessly. First got my first one, it would constantly disconnect and I had to reset it and nothing seemed to work. The developers were in able to help me at that time. I figured out how to solve the disconnection problems by making sure that they had static IP addresses. Once I did that I never had problems again. Only issue now is when I do a firmware update, it resets some of the HomeKit settings for the device. The plug is in the correct room but all the associated settings such as name and whether it is in a scene or not was reset. Fix this and I will give it five stars.
Garbage app won't connect to plug

I got this plug and it will connect to my internet fine but when I try to add it thru the app it will not let me click the NEXT button. How can I add something when the button won't do anything! It highlights and blinks when I push it but will not do anything and when I cancel it the whole app crashes total garbage!
Daily timers removed from app

Can’t even set my timers anymore, and stuck with my old one and not allowed to change it. Please fix or let me know how to change it with newest update, thanks

Used to work great, now all of a sudden Alexa integration no longer works. The server is always “unresponsive”
Scheduling Very Difficult

The app is not intuitive. When I first downloaded the app scheduling was very simple and you could set a timer to turn it on and off. Now you have to you scenes and automation to do the same thing. Extremely cumbersome and wish they would make this more simple. I am using one light kit for my front porch.
