I got a new phone a while ago and had played pretty religiously on my old phone because of how great this game was. Decided to come back to get back into the fun and I was horrified. This game is almost nothing like it used to be. All of my dlc content was gone along with my progress which I guess is fine but it’s almost like it’s screaming at me to buy something. The inclusion of micro transactions into this game have turned a once respectable rpg into what looks like a desperate cash grab. I don’t even write reviews that often but this time I felt genuinely hurt by an app that used to be my biggest time sink. This is probably the most disappointed I’ve felt by an app ever due to all the love I had for you guys. Goodbye, knights of pen and paper.

This game used to be super awesome. Perfect in almost every way. Once the free to play edition came to be, it suffered into what it is today.

I love this for a while, but I took a break for a little bit, came back, and I had lost all the dlc, classes, etc that I had earned. I had the room all decked out before, and now I lost all of it, and all of the room upgrades cost diamonds. The game says you can get diamonds through achievements, but there’s no achievement list, and after several hours of play, nothing. The app also keeps crashing, and then won’t open again (met with just a black screen). I have had to uninstall and then reinstall the game for it to work for one play session. Sorry, but this game turned to crap after it went to free to play.

I love this but it has some downsides to it. Having to buy the other adventures is really boring some times so I think you should add a free adventure everyone can play! But I haven’t thought of any ideas :/ . But this game is awesome! Thank you for making this game Paradox!!

This game is a blast to play for a while. It’s challenging, has an interesting class system and so on. But then you realize how much of a grind this game is. Either that or pay a stupid premium currency to buy gold. When you die you have to pay money to revive your characters. Alright that’s fine it’s a penalty I get it. But it becomes a nightmare every time someone dies because the price to revive one character gets to be over 500 gold (for your lowest member) and the enemies you are fighting barely drop 100 gold per fight. It becomes an aggravating slog every time you die especially when these enemies are pretty difficult it just feels cheap. Then there is exp. you level up so slowly. About as fast as you get gold. Which wouldn’t be a problem if the enemies didn’t always kill you on critical hits. Or every encounter didn’t feel like you were gambling because of how difficult they are. In short this game just feels unfair and annoying.
