-------------

We are developing fun applications that stimulate and inspire children to learn and practice math both at home and at school.

This application encourages Third Grade children to practice the addition of two triple digit (0-999) numbers (with carrying), the subtraction of two triple digit (0-999) numbers (with borrowing, but without negative answers), the traditional multiplication table of (1-12) times (1-12), and the whole number division table of (1-144) divided by (1-12).

Children can gain confidence by doing practice problems with unlimited time, or they can build proficiency by selecting "Minute Math" to see how many problems they can answer with a time limit. The app defaults to 5 problems and 30 seconds, but these can be changed very easily.

Teachers are using the Kids Math Fun applications in their classrooms to reinforce math, addition, subtraction, and division concepts. Considering their comments, we added a “Double Dare” feature so children can expand their math skills by mastering the inverse relationship between addition and subtraction. A “Try Again” feature allows children to develop mastery by attempting a problem again if they get it wrong.

A new “Show Scores” button allows children and parents to see the high scores for all four regular and all four “Minute Math” activities.

A score board in the right hand corner, shows how many addition, subtraction, or division problems have been completed along with the totals for correct and wrong answers. Graphics include: Sports, Kids and Pets.

Total Practice Problems can be set between 5 and 100 problems, the Minute Math Timer can be set between 1/2 minute and 10 minutes, and High Scores can be cleared.

Please take a look at our other popular apps: Kids Math Fun K-5, Kids Time Fun, and Kids Coin Fun.

The title says it all! Kids Math Fun~Third Grade was developed to encourage Third Graders to practice their math skills while having fun. We are proud to say this App contains no ads, no in App-purchases, no social media, contains absolutely no links, and no data collection.

Great program

My kid loves this game!

Pretty Useless
EdgarRothermich

I would say it is pretty useless for kids because there is no preference setting for adjusting the level of the tasks. No other options either, i.e. automatically going to the next equation after typing the answer. How about visual or audio feedback of "encouragement", I know this can be annoying, but this is for kids and it needs something to keeps them interested. I wish there had been a demo mode first so haven't wasted my money on that

Useless is right!

The author's third grader must be a lot smarter than my third grader. You cannot change the difficulty which makes this a total waste for my child. I should have just burned the 2 dollars.

Pretty good
Fourth grader

I use this a lot but I have to click on the answer instead of making it up myself. I would rather type my own answer in.

Nice start, but needs more flexibility.

Need to be able to mix +-*/ problems as practice or timed. The mixed operations should be selectable (e.g. +-selected would result in a random set of add/subtract problems). Also MUST have the ability to set max/min values for the numbers. Some third graders may not be able to immediately start adding/subtracting 3 digit numbers. With these few changes this woud be an excellent learning tool for 3rd graders.

Much more fun than paper flashcards!

Great for my daughter!

I love this app! It's really helping my daughter, and she loves the positive reinforcement she gets from the game. I would suggest adding difficulty levels though.

Lame. Ads in a paid app! Don't buy!!

I love it it helps me study

No work space
Because Yo' Mamma Said So

Presents a problem and then 4 possible answers. But there's no work space! In addition, you can't add the right column and then carry over the tens. Fine for testing if you also use paper on the side but then...what's the point?
