Well made wallet loving app

Even though it costs $1 it will make you pay for text messages to be sent to your phone. The first 50 is free but to get more I would have to keep paying this app. And you have to enter your phone # to make it work. I thought that part was optional or the 50 texts would last me a week or so, but they send 3 in a sec. So unless you have deep pockets and don't mind spending it on a time management app for your kids - go ahead. But there are cheaper ways. I'd rather pay $20 once than to have to keep paying them every few days.

Great monitoring tool for your kids

Great app to monitor how much time your kids are spending on their iPhone or iPads.

Good idea yet TOTALLY MISSED THE MARK!!

Both my wife and myself have looked at numerous reviews regarding screen time management for our two children and their mobile devises. This app caught our attention and looked as if it covered all the bases. We purchased the block of 300 email notifications, set our kids screen to for 60min per day and watched the app do its job informing us of when our son and daughter have opened their phone up and signed in (or not signed in as well!! :). ). This is where the problem begins. Only after 5min on the phone playing games, the timer of 60 min showed zero time remaining and stopped tracking properly. Figuring it was human programming error in my part in the beginning, I reinstalled my parameters to keep track of our kids time and send them off again. Same problem persists to this day. After 3 days of the app being installed, the app has failed to inform us of accurate information completely, yet has used up 44 email notifications of bogus and inaccurate information. Epilogue: Deleting app, and demanding my money back. Please fix the problem and I will soon change this review if necessary. Best of luck to you all Ken

On the right track, but....

Conceptually, they are on the right track with this application. I like the mechanism to monitor the amount of usage and the fact that time is up. HOWEVER, your child can simply hit "reset time" and continue playing. I need an application that is a bit more aggressive for my 10 year old son....i.e. Lock the iPad, etc until a parental password is entered. Also, I like the communication feature that texts your cell when the iPad is being used. However, they only give you a certain number of alerts AND you need to pay for them, too. I would think that at least a small quantity should be free while you are trying out the application. For what they are offering, I'll turn on my kitchen timer instead. I would love for the developer to take this application a little bit further, and offer the texting feature for free. I'm already paying my cell phone company too...

I just installed but it looks great

I am excited to try this out. The way they position the tool as a way to give out time is just what I need.

Easy

Helpful in getting the kids off the iPad without a fight!

Horrible app.

LBPD 001

This app only allows a notification to parents about time use and does not stop the phone usage. Plus you need to always allow location services to use this app. Oh, and get ready for intermittent surveys about BS while app is open. Terrible app!

Horrible!!!!!!
