Kia eServices

UVO eServices is a Kia telematics service that provides the following features on equipped vehicles:

1. Vehicle Diagnostics: Diagnose whether problems exist within major vehicle features. If an abnormality exists, you can call Kia Roadside Assistance or schedule a service appointment with any Kia Dealership directly from the vehicle or using the UVO app.
2. MyPOIs: Synchronize your POIs list from your MyUVO account with your vehicle's navigation system.
3. Parking Minder: Save the location where the vehicle is parked and navigate to it later, or send the location to a friend.
4. Roadside Assist: Contact Kia Roadside Assistance Program with just one click.
5. My Car Zone: Create a record when your vehicle is traveling faster than a set speed, starts driving later than a set time, or enters a set restricted area
6. Trip Info: Analytics of your monthly driving habits such as total time driving, total distance driving, average speed and average start time.
7. Dealer Appointments: Request service appointments at a dealership of your choosing.
8. Awards: Earn badges for using MyUVO's features.

To use UVO eServices, you will need a Kia Vehicle equipped with UVO eServices, and have registered a MyUVO account on MyUVO.com.

I bought my 2015 KIA Cadenza less than a month ago, and am impressed by all the “bells and whistles”, but sd maps was outdated of course so anytime I go anywhere I’m always recalculating lol it’s pretty ridiculous and was embarrassing when I was showing it off.

This app is not for the new iPhone edge to edge screen. C’mon kia. Your cars aren’t good at least make a good app.

Maintenance history is submitted manually by yourself, any service completed (before) your current date can not be inputted, only current or upcoming service can be documented. I’ve had 5 oil changes/Service and could NOT input the date and service provided, only option was to add to the useless note section. Recalls, any past recalls do not appear. I had 3 recalls upon my initial service, after downloading the App and verification of my vehicle, no history of recalls!, these recalls should have been preloaded into my car history as right now my vehicle shows NO RECALLs

This app does nothing for my Kia Forte. I can’t even use the car play. They should push in update that we can use the Apple car play.

...this app has been a big disappointment. I had assumed the app would track my maintenance, alert me to schedule routine maintenance, keep a record of vehicle maintenance and performance - maybe even give me a layman’s view of system diagnostics. Nope. It’s so stupid, it doesn’t even know the service schedule I paid for, nor is it aware of the routine service that’s been done. Given the excellence of the car in every other regard, INCLUDING electronics, I’m really surprised at how lame this is - I mean who would believe that in this day and age I’d still be depending on a window sticker to tell me when my next oil change is due? C’mon guys. In a world dripping with geek drool, this is embarrassing.
