Awesome App- worth the 2.99 a month

fassbendercat

I have tried a lot of Keto apps, this one is by far the best. Awesome index of foods to search for, keeps you on your toes by tracking fat, cards, protein and kcals. Not to mention you water intake and activity! Just right. Thank you!

App won’t start now after update

Just updated the app and now my app won’t start up. I’m a subscriber and I like things I pay for to work. I don’t want to leave but I really like to track my macros

Database lacking

New to MFP

Been using this app just a week, after using MyFitnessPal for over 5 years (bc MFP doesn’t track net carbs). I like the app but wish it would make some changes. The database is limited, some items not there or are wrong. I’ve even found SEVERAL items that I used the bar code scan and what came up didn’t match the nutrition info on the package/box! So I’ve had to manually enter lots of items. Also wish there were more than one “snack” category on the daily food diary - like one between breakfast and lunch and lunch and supper. I have to eat several small meals and it would be easier to see my eating habits if there were different snack categories for times of day. Other than that, I like it.

The BEST Diet App! (Keto or otherwise)

Ok, for those that said you can only add a few foods per day on the free version, it’s true. But it’s really more of a “try before you buy” version. They don’t have ads so they really don’t have a “free” version. BUT! BUT! The Pro Version is only $1/month or $12 for the year. And it is worth that small amount! (No, I don’t work for them or know them :) I am a chronic dieter by necessity. I was doing “keto” in the ‘80s before it was aptly named and widely known. I tried every well-ranked/starred calorie app for Android and iPhone and not been super happy with any of them. MyFinessPal was the one that came the closest. But the design/interface was not the friendliest IMO and it was a bit difficult to navigate. The splash pages always featured ppl who were always in shape and never over 30, which was annoying (to me) and there are other annoying features. KetoDiet App has none of that. The menus are intuitive. The macro totals are clear and grow and shrink when you scroll. Their food library is huge and has lots of brands. Their net carb calculator is very sophisticated (not just carbs minus fiber). And if you don’t do keto you don’t have to track net carbs. You can also easily adjust your app-generated macro categories to fit your particular goals. It’s awesome! It’s just the best app I have found for diet/“live”-it counting period!

Okayish

I paid for the year because well it’s only $12 so not a big loss. I tried others and I feel all are just about the same but after the reviews for this one I though I might as get this one since it has good reviews. The only major complaint is the limits of the free version. Well I’m wishing I could get my money back at this point several days in and not one single barcode that I’ve scanned has been correct in the app. Sometimes it even brings up random things not related to my scanned item or if it does bring it up it is entered incorrectly and but mostly it just says nothing found ?so the lack of food library items is irritating and the reason I don’t care for this app. I have to manually put in every single thing I eat which is time consuming to say the least. It negates the entire reason I got this app in the first place. The app also does not let you add stuff just randomly you have to add to your meal for that day then delete the item. I wish you would add a tab to create a recipe without adding to the day. Fix those things and it would be worth the money.

Struggling

I made a recipe, for all ingredients added, but cannot add it to my meal. I just keep getting the stupid “upgrade” ad.......over and over and over and over again. I’m not finding it user friendly......

Not something I would recommend.

So I downloaded this app to help with my Keto diet goals and the FIRST DAY it repeatedly gave me pop ups wanting me to buy the subscription when trying to log food. It was annoying but I kept going “back”. On the SECOND DAY it wouldn’t even let me save my food entries that I had spent half an hour calculating because I didn’t want to subscribe. I closed the app and reopened it and all of my entries were gone. It’s unfortunate that an app would do this on the first day, but shows they are not confident with the apps ability to sell itself and instead attempts to force buyers to buy the subscription from DAY ONE. I will be uninstalling it and trying a different app.

Too limiting!

Like others, I need to try an app be for paying for it. It stopped within the first 10 min of using the app. It only allows 5 foods saved per day on the free version! That is nuts and pointless! Also, there were several items it didn’t find when scanned. It looked promising at first but I will delete now. ?

Excellent for keeping track on Keto

Love the app and all the new updates that have been provided but is there any way you guys can make it compatible with the Apple Watch? Currently a PRO member and that would be the icing on the cake (if I could eat cake on Keto lol)

Lost all my data when I got a new phone

jjeenn

I just got a new phone and set up as new. I guess even though I paid for an account and had to log in it cannot transfer my data. Also- the weight feature needs work. Good idea but bad execution. It will save the weight you enter when you start the app as your starting point. You can change your start date but the first weight you enter will always be what is uses for your weight loss. Additionally it will only track the weight you lose once you downloaded the app. I have it set to synchronize with health data which has longer weight history but it never had an accurate weight loss number even on my old phone. I started my diet on a specific day when I had hit a new high weight - the amount I have lost since then is all I really care about but the app only counts since I started using the app which was a couple weeks in and it is really discouraging since it would say 1,3,5 (now 0) pounds lost when really I just hit 15 lbs down in 5 weeks. On the plus side I like that when I scanned a bar code it actually imported the nutritional information for the product which is why I paid for it. But really it doesn't take that long to enter them by hand and I mostly eat all the same foods so I think I am just going to back YAZIO or try another app.
