useless unless you pay for pro version

Shiznits

I’m new to keto and wanted an easy guide to show me how to stay on track, saved about 5 foods and now I have to pay to keep logging my meals. Trying to shop for this diet can already be expensive in itself, I’m not going to spend more money on an app when i can find another for free or ask people for advice the old fashioned way.

Almost perfect

EmJayAch

I’ve only used this app for about a week and I do rely on it a lot. It has easy to use features. Clear information. And good graphics to understand where you are. Inputting information is easy, you either search or scan almost anything. And if it isn’t in the database, you can add it. This is where a little improvement could help. The nutritional input for added items needs to be expanded. It limits you to calories, fat, protein and carbs with no explanation or breakdown. I’m not sure if it’s to be this # for fat or not. Also, many don’t know how to calculate net carbs 100%. Id recommend expanding the input fields to help with calculation. This app syncs with Apple health app where it imports information. Everything transfers with ease except the weight. I have an Apple compatible WiFi scale. The information makes it to Apple health. The first few days it made it to this app, but has since stopped. I’ve synced, re-synced etc with no luck. My steps still transfer but not weight. So overall a good app. Just needs to get nutritional fact input expanded and the weight transfer to work.

Automatic renewal

SeekGrave

Be aware, as I was not, that there is not just the up front fee as I thought there was, there is an auto renewal fee monthly.

Great app, painful load time

Gongzzilla

This app is a great tool to keep track of macros, how much water I drink etc. it really is a one-stop-shop for those on a keto diet. The one problem is the app takes forever to load, with a subscription based product you would expect this to not be an issue which is disappointing as it makes adding items a real chore.

App issues

Kodys Itunes

This app consistently times out while trying to sync health data from apple. When contacting customer support instead of the solution being fixing the problem I was simple told to add it in manually and create my own workout. Instead of fixing the issue with the application the fix is to basically tell the customer to piss off and handle themselves. App is garbage and customer service is unhelpful.

Would not let me give zero stars.

Blackantler

App allowed me to only save five foods before repeatedly attempting to get me to upgrade to “Pro” for a dollar a month. Twelve months payment required to be paid “up front”. Would not let me log any more food without upgrading. I deleted the app.

Really?

Kol333333

The free version allows to scan / enter only 5 items.... That’s only my breakfast bulletproof coffee... I’m not able to enter anymore items, it’s asking to upgrade to pro... I get it, it’s not a lot of $, but still, free version should allow to enter a day or two of foods, to get the feeling of the app. I don’t think I will be upgrading anytime soon. I do t like to buy cat in the bag. The circles with macros/ calories are kind of crowded... it’s hard to read it.

Not free…

Krysta890

The free version limits you to how many foods you can add in, so I am only able to add about 1/2-3/4 of my daily food. Same when you make you’re own meal, half way through the ingredients it cuts me off and prompts me to upgrade to the PRO version. I will be checking out the other keto carb managing apps.

Requires subscription or $30 purchase

Requires subscription or $30 purchase to perform basic functions, such as adding more than 2 items to a meal. The app seems great, well designed, and easy to use. But just say it’s a subscription or ask for money up front. Dishonest practices won’t get my business.
