The calculator supports Fixed and Adjustable Rate Mortgages (ARM) loans with up to five changes in interest rates. Interest-only mortgages loans are also supported.
You can pay off your mortgage early with extra payments. Add one-off, monthly and annual extra payments. Choose up to ten additional extra payment amounts and payment periods and the calculator will show how much money you can save on the loan.
Choose from weekly to annual loan payments and adjust the compounding period from daily through annual periods. The calculator supports Canadian mortgages along with UK annual rest mortgages.
Multiple rounding options on loan calculations are also available. Choose between no rounding, round half up, half down, to even, to ceiling and to floor.
The calculator also supports the input and display of multiple currencies.

I am buying my first home and wanted to be able to play with some scenarios after speaking with my lender. I was able to arrive at the same numbers we’d discussed and then play with them by adjusting different amounts. You can include PMI, based on your credit, and other relevant factors - or not. I feel some empowered! I can’t wait until my next conversation with the lender. She won’t know what hit her! Thank you so much for this invaluable tool.

I’m 9 years into my loan and it only works for new loans. I can’t adjust the payment amount to reflect my payment and the payoff day before implementing an early payoff isn’t correct. My payoff is 2036 but the app says it’s 2041. Very confusing to use

Deleted from my phone because it was too frustrating to use. Trying to enter a known amount for a loan and no matter what I do it insists on reverse calculation, and changes the loan amount.

App was working great, until it wasn’t. Had to delete and re-download. And now it’s not working again. It quit letting me input the interest rate or the term length. Keeps saying to hit payment radio button, which I cannot find.

Awesome calculator to run different scenarios of increasing monthly payments vs. refinancing at the lower rates that are now. Wish I knew about it a few years ago. Definitely a robust app, I’m glad the developer took the time to do it and offer it for free (as of now).

I really like the web site calculator, but this app just doesn’t work properly. Every time I change a value in one field it arbitrarily changes values in another. For example, if I set the initial principal then set the interest rate, it will change the term length. If I then change the interest rate it will change the principal. Sometimes I can’t change a value at all. Very confusing and frustrating as it makes the app useless.
Program never loads on my iphone 7 plus

I think I’ve been using this for a decade now. Awesome for letting you the affects of paying extra on your mortgage. Just wish it had iCloud or Dropbox sync

Absolutely no reason that this simple app should be reading, copying & pasting the contents of your keyboard. Notably the app hasn’t been updated subsequent to Apple’s App Store privacy transparency changes. Stop invading our privacy and stealing the contents of our keyboards. UNINSTALLED.
