Too many pop up adds lately

It used to be good. Now video advertisements pop up in the middle of reading an article or even when I try to leave feedback on their Feedback screen. I don’t even touch my phone and they pop up every few seconds. Very irritating.

Good for grabbing headlines, but...

I still can’t figure out why there are “Sponsored” news stories embedded into the list of stories, all of which are very offensive click bait. I’ve tweeted screenshots of them and KARE 11 has never responded. The regular news stories are great for getting basic news and special interest stories related to our community.

Do you know what I love? When I’m trying to read an article and these stupid pop up video ads show up and I have to kill the ad to continue reading the article and it continues to happen. Ok, I really don’t love that, it’s f’n annoying. KSTP 5 doesn’t have these problems. I’m sick of dealing with KARE. Delete, I’m done.

I get in-app ads, but the video pop ups that happen every 30secs while trying to read an article is just nuts.
Limited and biased coverage

I used to go to this site for information but have found in the past few years they seem to lack unbiased coverage. I now find my news, the stuff that’s important to me, on Sky news or BBC. Better coverage without the “we’re so important” attitude which this site and station have developed.

I use this app pretty much every day for new & weather. I would have given it 5 stars, however as I live in Western Wisconsin they only list the severe weather warnings and watches for the state of MN, I have to get my info on WI on a different website. On the phone app it will show it as I have my settings set for it, actual website doesn’t show them. Actual website was “improv” but I don’t like it & prefer the older version.
