This is a fantastic system, it functions well, easy to navigate and easy to use. I watched a whole movie without any problems, and there are so many choices to choose from too. Well done!

The video keeps stopping and showing an error #3 code. It’s very frustrating that I can’t finish the documentary I started. This has already happened at least 3 times and I have watched less than half an hour.

Love the content, but the app tends to fail ten minutes into whatever movie we are just falling in love with. I hope they fix compatibility issues because their curated selection is unrivaled.

The Great Courses on Kanopy offers the viewer Collegiate knowledge on over 100 topics from math, science, history, philosophy, music, hobbies & much more. A great way to learn the things you were always curious about, but didn’t have the time or money to do. Now you can learn them for free, on your couch, with a loved one.

This was my first experience with Kanopy. Actually, I read about the app in an AARP article. What a blessing to have this avenue to view films and get another perspective on other cultures. I am very much pleased. Thank you

Frequent halting to buffer, also resolution drops for many minutes at a time, sometimes improves, but very, often the connection is entirely dropped. I don’t have this problem with any other streaming platform, so I’m pretty sure it’s not a problem with my ISP. Is Kanopy’s server too small or slow? It has such great content and is free, so I imagine more and more people are viewing material on Kanopy and the quantity of viewers is overwhelming the capabilities of the current system.
Crashes using Chromecast

No longer works with Chromecast from my iPhone. It disconnects when my phone auto locks or I attempt to use another app…Google, Facebook, basically anything. This was never an issue in the past. 1 star because of the technical issues…which is unfortunate because the content is a 5 star.
iPhone app isn’t formatted correctly

Kanopy is fine for my Roku but the iPhone app doesn’t seem to be formatted correctly for just browsing thru movie lists. The bottom half of the screen is blocked and the app doesn’t allow me to rotate for landscape viewing. Hopefully you can fix this soon.
