Not only can I find movies here that are not available on Netflix or Amazon but when I cast it to my smart T.V. it works flawlessly. There are a ton films in 4K as well! Awesome sauce.

It makes really happy that a service like this exists. Genuine, thoughtful and passionate. They offer a full range of films from documentaries to sun dance nominees, films that are hard to find anywhere else, yet they are here and for free. Kanopy has really inspired me to think about how i could use my passion and skills to help others in a more specific and creative way. Kanopy is a free service that offers films that allow you to make an emotional connection. Do you know how rare that is?

Kanopy for is for me like a candy store to a child. Such a great feast of choices and am so grateful this amazing service like all the benefits our DPL provides its citizens
Unable to register and login

I registered for a new account as it was recommended by Apple. The first steps of the registration process worked smoothly and I received the email requesting I verify my email address - this is where things went downhill. I clicked the link to verify my email and it took me to the app, which then required me to login. So, I type my login information submitted with my registration and the app tells me that my login information is incorrect. So, I figure that maybe I can just reset my password and I follow those instructions. The system sends me an email to reset my password and I click the link there. This sends me to the website, which tells me that I need to login for this feature. So, I try to login, but the website says my login information is incorrect. I, therefore, try again to reset my password (maybe the website reset will work better than the app...). However, now the website says that my email address, to which I have already received multiple emails from Kanopy, is not recognized as a username or EMAIL ADDRESS?!? Very frustrating! Still, I figure maybe it is a glitch and so I try to send an email via their “Contact Us” link on the website. I complete the full email form explaining what happened, and when I press submit, I verify via captcha that I am human and....NOTHING. The website doesn’t work - it doesn’t move forward; it doesn’t verify my message was sent; it is literally a blank page and refreshing requires me to resubmit the form information (which I still tried just to be sure - and still nothing!). I have tried everything MULTIPLE TIMES in different ways just to be sure and it does not work. I am jealous of those who were able to get it to work and hope that one day I may also be able to take advantage of the app and access to The Great Courses (one of the big reasons I was interested in this app), but until then, I have deleted the app.
