Took off two stars because the hint pop-ups are literally THAT disruptive. They seem to be triggered by both time AND number of resets, and there is no way in settings to turn them off. The second you're deep in thought, they obscure the screen and make a loud noise. And then it happens fifteen more times. This game is awesome in every other way. Aesthetically pleasing, challenging, and pleasant. They do a great job of progressively on boarding users and gamifying the puzzles with badges.

Honestly it was a happenstance find bc I noticed it get recognition for its design and I’m so happy I tried it bc I thoroughly enjoy it. If you want something that takes a little brain power and is beautiful, this is such a great game for exactly that. I highly recommend.

Amazing game, but they have been unable to keep thier servers up and running for pretty much all of 2018 so far.

It’s a great game which is what it’s so frustrating lately with The connection to server issues. Was unable to connect last week for 3 Days then it was working and now having connection issues again.

I will say that I love this game - the way it looks and plays, the concept, everything about it. What has become so bad to the point that I might delete the app, is the app itself. I get excited; I make puzzles; I start getting ‘likes’ for my puzzles... ...and then it says I can’t connect to the Internet, and can’t download puzzles, despite having full WiFi access. I eventually am forced to log out, but when I log back in, everything I’ve created is gone. Those puzzles? Gone. My login name? Doesn’t recognize it, or give me credit. Last chance, KAMI 2

Notice that most recent reviews (starting in Jan 2018) complain about issues (mostly connecting to server) that prevent using this app. Doesn’t matter how well designed it is if it doesn’t work.

The game is as beautiful and—to the extent that it’s playable—engaging as ever. Challenge is broken. Daily is broken. Explore is broken. The app just freezes up, and suggests that I connect to the (already-connected) WiFi, or install the (already-installed) update. Perpetual reminders of the “beautiful” iPhone X update add insult to injury. I love the game, and I periodically drop some money on it... but I don’t love *any* game enough to buy a $1000 phone over it. Fix your app, please.

Great game, sort of educational because it makes you think and problem solve!

It's like running computer code.... you run it, see where it fails and try to work that angle, then test again. The process is just as enjoyable as the product.
