Only Facebook Users Need Apply

After deleting my Facebook account I can no longer use the app. Disappointed that there are no alternatives to Facebook for logging in considering Facebooks many privacy problems (for which they’ve been fined millions of dollars so far), unethical human experiments (the mood manipulation studies), and data breaches. Once upon a time Facebook seemed like it made sense for logins but now? It’s 2019...

Buggy wasteland and they delete reviews

seattledebs

Update: Now the ads that repeat ad nauseam (pun intended) —a problem they keep pretending they’re trying to fix—actually *flash* a barrage of pictures at you, making the mess even more annoying. If they wanted to convince us they care about our experience and are really trying to fix this months-old problem, they could do one simple thing: STOP SHOWING ADS UNTIL YOU’VE FIXED IT. Awaiting the crickets or excuse on that idea. Because no; showing an ad for the same crap thing 20x in a row makes them 20x the revenue. Previous, followed by canned developer response that’s easier than fixing the problem: Wrote a longer and very critical review. It “mysteriously” disappeared. Jswipe has had the same bug for months: it gets stuck on the same ad over and over (like, you could swipe left 20 times and it’ll still pop back up) and sometimes does this with profiles. Users have this problem across all os and versions, as you see from reviews. They know it’s a problem, have known for many months. New update hasn’t fixed it. Maybe because they can profit from users seeing ads repeatedly? Saying they just can’t figure it out leaves users thinking they think we’re naive and gullible. Also, it’s a wasteland at this point. Very occasionally a new user appears in the area, and I live in a large city. Probably because it’s so buggy. Don’t bother.

Paid for a subscription and the app isn’t working

great deals of joy!

The app keeps freezing up so you can’t tap on anything, it won’t allow me to get back in, I had to delete the app a few times and start it again, it automatically links to my Facebook page and still couldn’t retrieve my original JSwipe that I had messages on. What a waste of my time and money. This is not ok.

A bit pricey and a ghost town

LiamM777

I really wanted to like this app. I really wanted to. However, the subscription is a little bit pricey but I paid it anyway in hopes of finding a match. However, the real problem that I have with this app is that it seems no one uses it and if the do they live well beyond 50 miles away. I don’t live in a small town, I’m a few miles away from a big city and it happens to have a pretty decent Jewish population. This is very disappointing to me because I live the idea of this app. I think it needs more promotion and incentives for people to get. Maybe I’ll have better luck if I live in New York, but for now I’ll probably stick to Tinder and Bumble.

Gevalt

The same 2 guys - Seth and Beni - are the only profiles on rotation after I swipe left on each of these schmucks who look just like my ex-husband. Does this mean they are the only ones who liked me despite the app saying “over 107 people liked you”? Please, don’t make me go to shul to find my beshert. Fix the bug and show me my choices in my 500 mile radius.

This is bad.

This dating app is really bad.

Doesn't update location and help button broken too

Iinjama

Never updates your location. And the help button doesn't work either.

Just keeps getting worse

It’s now impossible to replace my first photo with another one of my choosing. I’ve heard complaints for years now about how stupid it is that the app pulls your favorite music, tv, books etc from Facebook likes rather than inputting your own. It’s often a poor reflection of actual interests. Im also not sure why there are way more empty bios lately on this app than any other I’ve used. Since when have Jews had nothing to say? Lol

Pay to date

Micah the ninja

This app is made great and would get 5 stars, if it wasn’t trying to force you into paying to meet anyone. If you want to see more than 1 photo on a profile you have to pay and there are numerous other features locked behind a pay wall. This app was meant to help jews meet and date and it makes it pretty hard to do that when you have to pay just to see more than 1 photo.

I changed phones

And now simply can’t log on. Keep getting redirected from Facebook to the app and back to Facebook. Very annoying...this bug should be worked out pronto...how can you retain a user base with an app you can’t log into? ?‍♂️
