Update broke my app

Just updated my app to v3.33 and now it won’t open. Closes as soon as I try to open it.

iPad 3rd Gen. I am so sorry but it immediately crashes after start. It had worked great before I updated ver. 3.33.
Not seamlessly integrated with MC!

Generally favorable. Seems to require stronger network connection than other apps. Biggest Complaint: Genre and Artist fields from the MC data file are not used the same way in the app. Albums categorized by genre display individually By album name in MC and by Artist in the app. If these were actually available to assign it would help. Pushing the same field usage to the app really needs to happen !

This is almost as bad as the Media Center interface “designed” for one’s media server. This is a bad joke.
Essential to go with JRiver Mediacenter

JRemote is a great app that I use every day to listen to my music. One thing I really wish it could do is to play scrambled playlists the same way Mediacenter does. In Mediacenter, I can link tracks (e.g. the movements of a classical composition) and they will always scramble together. So effectively, my classical playlists scramble by composition, not by track. JRemote, for reasons impossible to understand, does not do that. So I cannot play classical playlists scrambled from JRemote. It scrambles by track, even though all tracks are linked by composition in the underlying database (library). This, I say, is a shame!

I’ve used JRiver for years. Without any other changes I have went through periods of the remote not connecting. I’ve had multiple iOS versions and JRiver versions and frequency of failure remains. Then there will be periods where it works fine.
Bug fix required immediately

This new version doesn’t display properly on my iPhone in IOS 14. The top of the screens are way too high cutting off most the type. This app makes some of the buttons at the top of the screen impossible to top. It’s nearly impossible to get into the settings menu.
