Amazing travel journal !

Easy to use and an excellent way to keep friends and family in the know when I'm traveling . So fun to look back through.

I have tried about a dozen travel journal apps and this is the one I like the best. The ability to have collaborators on the trip, the map that follows our trip, the layout, these are all well thought out and easy to use. Mostly I use this for family vacations, but I've also used it for school trips to keep our parents in on our photos.

I really love this app, and all the features I also LOVE the new update where you can print out the journal and get it shipped to your house. I would definitely recommend this. I especially would get it if you are going on a family vacation and want to have a journal but printing out photos and writing a journal is too much work. If you want to go somewhere and don't know much about the little stuff you can look at others journals.

I took a wonderful trip across the US two years ago and Journi seemed like the best of all the apps out there. I created a wonderful blog. However, I couldn't download the blog and I couldn't create a book. In the past month, that changed . . . well, sort of . . . To download the blog, you can now pay to become a premium member, which I did. In doing so, you get a text file of your posts along with all your photos. Maps are NOT included in those files. I started to use those files to create a book with another company. That was a laborious process and I stopped. Journi has just been updated with the claim that I now make a book - wow! The only problem is that the books are EXPENSIVE! To print mine will cost between $121 and $215! That's just for one book and cost depends on the size you select.

My friend asked me to get this app to view her photos. I allowed notifications so I know when she posts. Unfortunately, I keep getting notified by Journi to purchase their services, or post photos, or look at a limited time offer. I just want to see my friend's photos, which, btw, are presented nicely with this app. She could have used Facebook, but I guess she wanted a smaller audience. Perhaps this app is good for the ppl posting photos but not convenient for the ppl just viewing photos.

Pro is expensive

I love to follow my children and grandchildren's trips with an up to the minute report of what they are seeing, eating and the people they meet. It increases the safety of their travel and it opens the world to me.....

Great! But just one thing..

I love this app! But there are a couple things that can be fixed. 1. I wish you could search for the name of a journi. It is really hard to find journis for me. 2. The pro and books are so expensive! 3. I wish there were more stickers. But despite those things, i love this app!
