Disappointing

9erGuy

I run about a 7:30 average pace, and the songs that were coming up were slow country songs, reggae, and slow rock... TWO steps in my cadence per music beat- not one. Not exactly energizing.

Frustrating app

Bummednodata

I have to exit and reopen the app to play a second song. I don't want to have to fiddle with an app when I run. I expected this app to play continuously based on the pace I set. Songs dont match the pace and I have over 100 in my library. Very disappointing and waste of $4.

Great app!

Ericalyn999

I have an iPhone 5 and just used this app for the first time today, and it worked just as promised. It scanned my library of a few hundred songs quickly, immediately calculated my running pace, and played appropriate songs. I did figure out that it has to run on the lock screen before it will play another song, otherwise there's a pause until you go back into the app. I'm totally satisfied with this app's performance as is, though I can suggest a few enhancements: on automatic, it should still tell me my average running pace so I can track my progress. It would also be nice if it asked for my height and weight and calculated calories burned or other fitness tracking info. It would also be cool to be able to export a playlist for a certain pace into my iPod library. Other than that, I will definitely keep using this app, as I love my music and enjoy discovering songs I already have that would make good running music. I found this app because I had the idea for this very format and posted on Facebook to see if anyone knew if an app like this existed. A friend who runs suggested it, and I'm so glad someone already came up with my idea, thank you!!:)

Cool concept. Poor execution.

Early runner.

The concept for this is quite cool. It does play the proper bpm music based on your settings. I tested it against a metronome to be sure. People who say otherwise probably don't understand enough about music fundamentals to realize this. That being said, the execution is very poor. In order to use this app, you need to use it's internal lock button an you cannot shut off the screen using the button on top of the phone. If you do, it will only finish playing the song you are listening to and won't start the next song until you swipe your phone open. What this means is that for the app to proper work, the screen has to always be on which drains your battery much quicker than if you were just listening to music. This is not a problem for short runs with a fully charged phone. But multi hour runs could be problematic. If this issue didn't exist I would have given it 5 stars.

Excellent concept - hope it improves

amojik

Love this concept! ...but needs some work. It is playing the same songs, no matter what running pace is set to. Once that gets worked out the shuffle option someone mentioned in an earlier review makes sense. ipad/mini apps would be good adds also. Look forward to this app getting better!

Does not work

hockey moms

Will not retrieve music from my library, tried multiple time. Would not add songs. Deleted app looking for refund.

T.G.I.G.H ( This game is grandma ham)

$$$$$$$$&&&&&@@@@

I mean ma two year could even beat level 489,266 with his eyes closed while doing his math homework and orgami projects for his company. Come on I need an addicting game while waiting for my piano lesson. I'm only 32 years old and me and the ladies need a better app than this. I'm building Legos tonight, so if anybody wants to come over that would be nice?

Not worth it

Not a graceful runner

Only plays music from your library. Does not allow you to create a playlist. Just randomly picks songs to match your pace. Do some research, download some songs and create your own playlist.

Terrible

B poison

Total waste. I want my money back. Ban this app, apple. Was misled into thinking it provided songs, rather than just playing my playlist.

I don't get it

CodyDuncan0720

It will play two songs then continues to skip and I have yet figure out how to play my power songs I added. Not impressed.
