i wish i had known

R Bennett

I wish I had known that you have to BUY the playlists you make in addition to buying the app. I love that songs are grouped by BPM but said to purchase-repurchase songs again.

Useless

Amberhisd

Worthless. Ignored other reviews hoping for some redemption, but fail. Won't scan my library past 4%. What a waste of money!!

Terrible

Johnene22

Will not analyze my songs beyond 4% no matter what time of day. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! I wanted to run a half marathon for pace with this app, instead just wasted money and a whole lot of time!!

Awesome!!

I saw the negative reviews for this app, but liked the concept so much that i decided to buy it anyway and just cross my fingers that i wouldn't have the scanning problems that past versions seemed to. It scanned my (very large) library in a matter or minutes and is amazing! The playlists it creates have tons of variety and its perfect for keeping me going when i'm starting to get tired during a run. This app is so amazing, i don't have to ever manually create a playlist for a long run!

Yuck yuck yuck

I was hoping this app would pick up some of the songs I thought it would based on my noted pace. Not even close. For an 8:30 mile, it pulled up slow David Gray and Avett Brothers. I know I have some rockin songs on my phone. David Gray--really? You're better off finding a few songs with the desired BPM and Googling songs with similar BPMs.

waste - only plays from your library

sadrunner

Was sorely disappointed after purchasing to find out that it only plays songs from those that I've downloaded to my iPhone. Waste of money. I can build my own playlist of my music. Was expecting to have access to a streaming music library.

A bit buggy

LittleRita

It occasionally gets stuck when switching between songs, but I remain optimistic.

Worst App Ever

Please use pandora instead! No point paying approx $3 for this useless piece of crap!

Great app if you have an extensive library!

Ed Lally

I have a pretty extensive library on my iPod, and this app has helped me find music for my workouts. As another reviewer noted, it won't suggest music from jog.fm or other sources, but it does a great job of identifying the beat rate of your existing music and matching it to your pace (either by detecting your movements or by using a set minutes/mile rate). I like that you can tag music as favorites and also blacklist it from your workouts (a great feature if you don't want all your Christmas music to start playing!). I found the app to be a bit slow at times and wish it had a button for restarting a song, which is the only reason I can't give it 5 stars.

Great app but....

sgt_spike

This is a great app but it could use a better way to shuffle. When I use it at a specific pace the same songs play in the same order every time. If it shuffles then I wouldn't hear the same songs every time.
