Good app. Not really warning before the earth quake, but seems quite reliable, unlike yurekuru The tsunami feature is a really good.

I like it because I can read it, easy to use. I would love to read or able to understand in Japanese, because their earthquake applications seems to be a lot faster than this application. Please understand that I appreciate to have this service, but seems to be slow on the alerts for some reason. Thank you for having it in English.

There are so many earthquakes in Japan that having this tool helps normalize the idea of them and seeing that on the most part, they are harmless

I like this app, I've lived in Japan for 2 years and the last year especially there's been many earthquakes. This app has helped to separate real ones from phantom ones so I don't have any extra worry. Only reason I give it a 4 is b/c the alert is after the fact instead of an early warning system. Overall I like this app a lot :)
Gets the job done

I lived in Hitachi, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan for three months and had a lot of earthquakes. The only thing that I don't like about this app is that I always got the notification after the earthquake occurred, up to about ten minutes after. It's great for learning about earthquakes that aren't local. I travelled to Osaka for a week and found out that there was a +7 earthquake and tsunami warning in Hokkaido. Now that I am back in the USA, it's also nice keeping track of the areas where my friends live.
