OMG best app ever

Terrible app

Just download notability instead. This is app is a waste. I would rate 0 stars if I could. Only has 6 colors. Everything you draw is blurry. Auto draw is complete trash

So much potential

This can be so much more with the iPad and pencil. It is fairly unstable right now as it crashes infrequently. Connection to jamboard is there with WiFi delay. Please develop this app Google! Primary use may have been intended as a whiteboard space but there's a lot of untapped potential utility in that tablet form with pencil compatibility. Just for reference I also have a Pixelbook and Google pen, but the apple pencil 2nd generation works better overall. (Magnetic charging, thin profile, double tap)

Amazing for Education - Needs Sharing Fix

BrianYearling

This app is another slam dunk application from Google and it is absolutely perfect for tablet users, except one clunky feature that needs a quick fix. In multi-domain G Suite districts like ours, sharing across domains is tricky. The JAM code is the perfect easy sharing solution, but it does not work across domains, and as a Google Admin I have no way to whitelist a domain to share with easily using the JAM Code. The trouble is that sharing a URL on iOS doesn’t work either as the Safari or Chrome browser will not open in Jamboard app. So the only option is sharing with a full list of students, which isn’t reasonable or efficient. And it isn’t even possible on iOS. Please fix... this is a new killer app for iOS but this fix needs immediate attention for educators to use it widely this fall.

My favorite quick sketching app

I don't have a physical Jamboard but this app works great on the iPad with Pencil. Best part is the automatic sync to the web so I can view and share designs from the desktop. Also can Airplay from the iPad to Zoom calls and external displays. Wishlist? More efficient tool and color switching and easier board naming.

OK

Doesn’t integrate elegantly into the Google suite - can’t easily share to a meeting, I need to type in a meeting code. Kicker - doesn’t even support iPad keyboard for typing anything within the app.

Is this google!!

I am surprised to see such a poor app like this one comes out of Google's labs! There is no handwriting annotations using mobile app nor does it support non-Latin alphabet (Arabic & Hebrew) It needs lots of work to compete with other professionals in the business :-(
