They seem to have fixed all the technical issues. The app works well and does everything it's supposed to. Very easy way to monitor home from anywhere. Would like longer recording capability, but very happy overall with this product and its app.

We were in Peru South America and were got alerts for the cameras around the house. We were in the Amazon and had no WIFI so I was not surprised to see a number of alerts when we returned to a good connection . Sometimes it is a light clicking on or daylight/sunset or a phone ringing that causes it. On one camera alert there was a vertical line I thought was a light beam reflecting off something. I went live and turned on the sound and listened. A pipe had broken to a toilet on the top floor and had been running for up to 5 days. It sounded like a water fall. Ceilings fell in the kitchen and basement, the dry wall in the walls were soaked in the kitchen destroying the 2 year old kitchen cabinets, carpet, tile and Pergo floors on all 3 floors were gone. If it was not for you cameras it would have gone on for another 2 weeks until we waked in on our return home. The damage woud have been much worse that it already is. We are thrilled we had your cameras around the house.

This is an incredibly great product. The cameras work and are clear as a bell. The signal works at home, in a wifi location, and EVEN OVER cell networks. I have 12 cameras and they all work. They have worked for years. Even BETTER, the set up is incredibly easy and innovative. I just wish they had a desktop app so I could check the cameras from my computer.

This is the first Apple backed product that was a complete disappointment from the beginning. They were sold to me as a good option for easy security camera set up. Not by any means are these things easy. The sync function takes so very long and usually doesn't work until you do it 4-5 times. At least once per month they disconnect and you have to start the syncing all over again. There are no schedules or subscription plans. Just 25 videos per 24hr period. If anything happens outside of that you get a tiny picture that they have no way to access for you. Support is dismal as well. This camera system is a bust and I'm glad I replaced them all with Nest cameras. I gave it a good solid effort for about 2 years... It's just been 2 years of pure frustration and disappointment. I don't like writing bad reviews and I have tried to contact them several times about changes and updates with zero response.

I started with one Izon camera, and soon had three. Now. I have eight in two houses. Not sure how I ever lived without them. Once in a while I need to restart one because it gets in some funky state,other than that they seem to run nearly forever without problems. For its $49 to $79 price, the Izon is an amazing value. The field of view is definitely narrower than the Nestcam. Bur four of these is way better than one of those. A wide field of view won't let you see through walls or around corners!

I wish the Izon device could be set up to send me texts instead of alerts. That way I could put a specific tone for it which would alert me quicker to activity where there should be done when motion is detected. I could select a specific alarm tone to alert me & it would help when my phone is on night time Do Not Disturb. Otherwise it is a excellent working cam & system & I plan to add to the 2 I already have.
