Can’t find character count

I bought this app to replace my very old original version because that one was freezing up. I saw, on some of the examples above, that it the app shows word AND character count but I cannot find the character count and I cannot find any settings. I need the character count and it was my favorite thing about the original program.

It’s my best write tool.

Easy simply useful

I like the setup but I wish I could change the color of the text (in night mood) from white to green. I’m a big nostalgia junky and am on the hunt for an app that is reminiscent of the 1980’s word processor.

No Dropbox sync

Writing in the app is good and clear. However, I mistakenly purchased the app expecting it to have full Dropbox integration which is not the case. In order to keep your documents in order you have to import and then export back to Dropbox which is nuisance. The support was quick to respond to my reclamation though so it doesn't deserve a mere 1-star rating.

Just purchased app and works well. The one thing missing is the print option. If possible, the option for font selection, margins and line counts (so that the writer will know where the page will break). Looking forward to updates.

Simple and elegant. I appreciate the fact that the program is not loaded down with useless features. I have noticed that with longer docs it tends to be less responsive (although the doc I tested was admittedly 90,000 words). White text on black screen and full screen mode are wonderful. I would give five stars/pay more for 1) a tab that does not indent so far. Two or three spaces is fine, but a nine space indent is distracting! 2) larger fonts sizes (one or two more would be nice). Please add 2) and fix 1). Keep up the good work!

Well, I am a sociology major in college and as such I have a lot of written assignments. I also have ADD and the internet readily available. This app is perfect for students trying to get an essay to the right length. The setting to force you to focus on only three lines at a time that this app was built on is a life saver. That is all.
