Poor navigation and usability

This app needs some of the usability features of the Podcasts app. The biggest drawback in my opinion is that you cannot reopen the app and immediately be able to start listening where you left off which makes a horribly clunky experience of trying to remember what class you’ve been working with and what lesson/episode you are on, especially if you had to stop partway through a lesson. This isn’t the experience I expect from Apple. You also cannot find a course that you have subscribed to unless you also “get” the course—that’s a useless distinction between subscription and getting the course, so if you want to find it later you either have to remember it or get it and then it clutters up your list of courses you are currently taking. The usefulness of the app and selection of courses is pretty good and growing all the time but the usability irritates every time I use it.

Needs update to address video playback bug

Videos freeze or become silent after pressing fast forward (either by scrolling or the 15s fast forward button) This problem seems to happen only on my newly purchased gen 7 iPad but not on my old iPad mini gen 3.

Great resource, but sub-par Apple product

iTunes U provides great resources for learning across a wide variety of subjects; however, it’s navigation is frustrating, and it is prone to many UI and UX errors and glitches. I’ve come to expect higher standards from Apple... it seems like this app has been rather forgotten.

THE COURSES DO NOT APPEAR!

I live in Iraq and free education is a great idea looking at the financial situation here and from the reviews I have read this is the best education app on iOS. The problem with me is that the free courses do not appear the page just stays blank when I enter and the search function also stays blank and it is not because of the internet because I tested my speed and it was at 1.5 mb/s a fix would be very useful

Needs an Overhaul

It’s okay at best. The UI is so dated, and it is not very well organized. The app clearly hasn’t been touched in so long. Marking up a document in the app needs to be able to actually work. And please...change the name. Apple, please update this app! Give it an overhaul!
