It worked for about a minute and only if I stayed within 5 feet of my iMac. Any longer and any further and it stopped working and within 10 minutes it stopped recognizing my iMac entirely and wouldn’t connect much less find the computer on the network. I checked the WiFi and both were on the same network and had no other networks to jump to. This app just plain doesn’t work. Don’t waste your time.

Basic Apple TV remote app. Can’t control volume though. Also, please allow support for the Apple TV widget to work with the 3rd gen Apple TV. Please add Support for the iPhone X!

Extremely limited in features. So much room for improvement. Terrible app. Allow third party developers to do better please. Needs to be updated for iPhone X. That’s embarrassing.

Why wouldn’t Apple update their own apps for their newest flagship phone? Letter-boxed and looks like the music app from several generations ago.

Reliable, yet glitchy

While using this app on my iPhone, I've come to realize it has extended my range of access to iTunes (via Wi-Fi of course). However, when I open the Remote app, sometimes it fails to load and glitches between screens. This isn't a critical issue for me, but it is noticeable. Also, it would be cool if remote could show up in the Control Center on iPhones and other iDevices. I also wish Remote was compatible with finding Apple Music songs. That would extend everything!

Up until this last update. Now I can't get it to work on either the iPad or iPhone. Tried reinstalling it on both devices. Nothing. Ugh. Me again, that was for the last major ios update, and again it doesn’t work on my iPhone. Works just fine on my iPad which isn’t on iOS 11.
