Hasn’t been updated in a year and no iPhone X support!

Looks like apple has abandoned this app.

What about Windows Peasants Cottage users?

I may be totally lost & wrong here, but I have had iTunes on a laptop since forever. Built up large collections. Have only been iPhone user for 2.5 years, yet have no reason to use itunes on that. Question: new Win 10 professional loads an empty itunes library. From IOS side, nothing shows either. History gone?! If I turn on home sharing, there's nothing to share except going forward. So it seems being a split Windows & IOS user has left me with nothing. YEARS of songs, movies gone. No record of purchases-nothing! Same itunes account, BTW. So unless I am missing some obvious step, the $$$ spent & enjoyment is gone. See no reason to continue with this bloatware for Windows & wish I could dump it from iPhone!

Remote works great...

Remote app works flawlessly with iPhone 7 and PC and ten year old Mac. Didn’t work with really old iPad.

What the hell...

Thank you, user “Weffrr,” for pointing out what’s happening. Why is this — and 99% of everything else — being allowed on the “App Stores”?! Or rather, the crApp Stores. Crap: all across the board for Apple. Horrid and inexcusably buggy “operating systems”, horrid service, and horrid “apps.” That continue to become bigger train-wrecks at an exponential pace. Does T.Cook think no one notices?! Or maybe he “thinks” we’re expected to “settle” for the crap doled out at us? And now many of you are learning: when you post “critical” (read: “Brutally Honest”) reviews, comments, etc., on any of Apple’s sites, your comments are immediately deleted — usually in under one minute, and you receive various forms of threat letters. What an embarrassment. My point: We, the customers, allow Apple to exist. We fund them. An we EXPECT to have nothing but peerless, flawless EVERYTHING. The time to end this inexcusable behavior has long been overdue. Apple/Cook think they can do anything they want — screwing customers, to name one of infinite well-documented instances; Solution? Contact and engage the DOJ and Trump — for starters — with your complaints. Watch how fast remedial action happens. What a coward you are, Cook, for thinking you could thumb your nose at us — and Steve Jobs.

No longer works

Telegraph

What happened? Why did you break the app? Entering a password is so painful with the remote. The app used to soften that pain, but no longer. Now I am never signed into my account nor can I use iTunes sharing. The app is as functional as a picture of a remote.

In need of an update.

mabuserex

Hopefully not abandoned by Apple. In desperate need of an update for current IOS and new devices.

No STILL Longer Works

Snaaaaail

The app no longer works with 3rd gen Apple TV and iPhone 6s--not iPhone 8 iOS 11.2.5. I believe it occurred after iOS 10 update but it's a completely useless app now---it seems as though many people are experiencing this issue so I hope it will get fixed soon. Years later this makes me want to throw all my apple stuff in trash fire.

Would be nice if updated for iPhone X

Solitary

I love using the remote control app to access multiple libraries on my multiple Macs and it works for now as expected, but it would be great if the application could get updated more frequently, especially to support the iPhone X display.

CRASH

Keep on crashing when fast forwarding... annoying!

Same old

Turn on home sharing. Turn on iCloud. Both are on. Now connect remote. Remote connected. Close app. Now redo it all over again and can’t be found. Why is this that hard?
