Fantastic app!

Dejan BL

This app is one of the best purchases I have made on App Store lately. Great for streaming videos of my SanDisk wireless flash drive, and unlike VLC player it supports AC3 sound format. Also you can download YouTube videos directly to your device in a snap.

Tupaco

I use this app to take video and pics off a micro sd , on my drone (quadcopter) Puts it in any video format needed comes back clean close to 1080 like camera adds. Easy drop locations Via FB DROP BOX I CLOUD EMAIL ECT!

Is Aces w/ my Sandisk Flash Wi/fi drive!

Leica-Fan

Fantastic purchase. Been using both with my Sandisk portable wi/fi drive for mobile video streaming with my iPad and as my main video player for my personal movies collection by adding them to app via iTunes on my mac. Am about to get a home NAS and looking forward to streaming from it directly. My favorite feature by far is the ability to adjust the playback quality setting of the video decoder. I have very high quality files and never seen them look as good as they do playing in this App playing on my iPad Pro. Breathtaking. A close second favorite is the ability to control brightness, contrast, and saturation, of the video being played. Also nice is the audio boost control and the playback speed adjustments - Tho I rarely use them. Absolutely love this app.

STREAM FROM CLOUD SERVERS!!!

ipadfilmz

This app does EXACTLY what it promises. It allows you to stream videos/media from cloud servers (Dropbox, etc) directly to your iPad/iPhone, no file downloading. Picture quality is excellent. Easy to use. This is the feature missing from PLEX, Infuse, etc. The interface isn't as polished as those apps, but it does stream from the cloud. True media on the go experience!

Great app!

X Bad app

Plays perfect all kind of video file formats. Gladly recommend to use it.

Excellent Video decoding app

Worth every penny!

YouTube issue

worshipfulmaster

I love this app, it just has some issues with downloading YouTube videos, it will do a few and then it won't work anymore, some videos will let me download them and most won't. I've asked them to fix that but haven't gotten an answer yet, hopefully they can.

Videos play ok, but folder support is buggy

Itsyidiysyrarya

I have a bunch of .wmv files sitting out there on some web URL. This app is one of the few that support 'Web Browser' functionality to download media via http://. . Using this app, the downloaded files are placed under Cloud>Http. The downloading itself is confusing. You enter the URL of the video (usually via copy paste from another app, like Safari), and it downloads it, but then it also has a down pointy arrow still there. But that appears to copy the file to some local location. Except that I already just downloaded the file. Very confusing! Then folder creation and placing my downloaded (via http) files is buggy. You can create folders just fine, however, placing a file in there, you have to do the usual idiotic iOS song and dance with Edit>Cut, navigate to your folder, then tap Paste. And now your downloaded video file is in your new folder. Except it's also in the old folder, at the top of the file tree. What??? That video is a bug -- they didn't delete it properly from the UI list. So, I have to swipe left to expose the iOS red 'Delete' to get rid of the phantom video. Renaming folders works, but it's not intuitive - you have to be in the folder, in order to rename it. In summary, this app has potential, but it needs to improve the workflow for http downloads (it's confusing the way it is now) & fix the UI bugs in folder support. Even though I paid for this app, I think I will stick to VLC, for now. It's less buggy.

Will not play downloaded Dropbox files if offline.

Pretty serious limitation if you are away from an Internet connection.

smb not working

Openbottle123

Wrong username/password error even though smb work in other apps. Maybe because my user name is an email address.
