Used to be good - Now it's terrible

When I first started using this app several years ago it worked pretty well. However, for the past year or so, it has become almost useless for route planning and timely service alerts as described in other negative reviews. This seems especially strange to me, since I also regularly use iTrans NYC, and it works flawlessly.

With iOS 10 will not show track info on train times. But will show track issues. Was useful till now.

Used to be able to check when my train was coming or how long it'd take to reach my destination but now all the app does is glitch and tell me there's an error. Won't be using again

this app used to work really well, but now I can't even click on the metro station to get times. Also my only options are always use location or never use location. I don't need this app tracking me in the background!

It used to work and it no longer does The creators must've abandoned it Look through the reviews I cannot find a positive review for this app that isn't over a year old Find another app at the iTunes Store there has to be anything better than this It prompts you to not use metrorail exclusively even when you punch in two metrorail stations Then it tells you to choose an alternate time It has a bugthat has not been addressed for a very long time Sad I remember using it with success years ago

Good with the Apple Watch

Update 2016-12-16: Earlier this week this app started working again. As noted in my prior comments below, I think it's a good app if you have an Apple Watch because of the Metro disruption notifications. They're great now that they're working again. I can't give the app five stars because the notifications show up on the iPhone with inaccurate time stamps, and I think timeliness is key for commuter info. But on the watch, this is really useful. (BTW, I must underscore that I use this app solely for its push alerts about train disruptions. I don't use any of the other features and my review is based on what I use it for, so I can't comment as to the issues folks raise about ETAs and the like. I use the outstanding dcmetrohero.com website for train arrival info when I'm waiting for a train or when I'm on a train that randomly stops between stations.) ****Prior negative review follows, then original positive review below that**** Update 2016-11-02: My original review is below. At the present time, I rate this app one star and would give it zero if I could. Reason: Ever since the iOS 10 update, the app doesn't send any alerts, whether on my iPhone or my Apple Watch. The alerts were what made this app useful, especially because looking at an alert on my watch is less obvious at the office than scrolling through Twitter. Without alerts, this app is pointless for commuters. Hopefully they'll fix it soon. I haven't deleted it and I don't plan to do so because I used to consider this a four-star effort for the reasons stated below. BTW, a good alternative is the dcmetrohero.com website. ******Original review follows:****** I have this app set to push service alerts to my Apple Watch. I'll get a vibration on my wrist and I'll see the iTrans logo and I'll know something's up. That's very useful. Beyond that, the app is so-so. I pretty much use it exclusively for the service alerts. But if you don't see those when they first appear, the app is a little brain-damaged because on the phone, it always says the alert was five hours ago, regardless of the actual time. That's not helpful because I don't know whether to be concerned. But on the watch, it's great.

Does not show anything when use from to option to calculate next metro. This is basic. Says change from subway only mode for every query.
