Someone should report to BBB. It does find the device, but gets "stuck" on viewing the camera for the map (which doesn't work at all). The instructions included are very limited, and do not explain how to use the app with the map. My child is frustrated as it is not like the commercial at all. Don't waste your money on itikes! One star until the company makes the app better!

App doesn't connect to map. Fresh batteries, fresh install, following all directions, just says unable to detect device. Lame.

This app is horrible. My son is very disappointed. It doesn't work with the map device. It just says, "waiting for device to load." I wouldn't even give it a one star but that is not an option. Of course, I don't even see a contact number for assistance with customer service. Not that they would be able to help. I'm gathering from all the other reviews on this same issue that it is not just a problem with my device meaning that itikes should be ashamed for false advertisement!

I explore... Maps states that it is "compatible with all iPads.". In the instructions it states that it is "compatible with iPad 1.". It does not work with 1st gen iPad/iPad1. Little Tikes, shame on you.

I have an iPod touch and it doesn't work properly with it either. First I bought it and the pen wouldn't fit in properly, then when I for the new one and went to use it, it took forever to load and once it does, it doesn't detect the correct map. My child was looking at the solar system and suddenly a cat shows up!!!! Terrible an false advertisement. Going to return.

Terrible! Does not work with the toy on iPhone 4S. Just says waiting for device and doesn't work. I would not have bought the map if I had known this. Lame!

I'm with everyone else on here that is complaining about it not working on my grandson's iPad 1st Generation. Please fix this problem, he loves the whole deal, but I'm not going to let him take my new iPad home with him!!
