Wifi timeout

Michfla4

Tried multiple times to set up with different devices. It continues to time out - won't connect to device. - I will now work to return.

BAD instruction

Psihiart

Works fine , just follow instruction to dot , don't wait for confirmation after wifi setup , just go back to previous page like they ask

iSmartPlug

I had to press the config button in the app 3 times before it connected to the network. I'm guessing its my router that did that, not the app.

Junk app for a junk product

Kenzie 4 7 9 28 29

Took over a hour to get the plug to sync with the wifi and now the app shows it offline almost every time I sign in. Have to try to reconnect to it multiple times before it will connect back up. Don't waste your time on this. Deserves zero stars!

Bad design, but works

Avi42

Don't trust it if it says wifi times out. Just go back to the previous page and continue with the instructions.

Alexa or Google Home Support?

Will iSmartPlug or iSmartHome work with Alexa or Google Home???

Complete and Uttermost Garbage

Da big bad wolf

I thought I was being a smart shopper when purchasing an iPlug for such a low price. Man was I mistaken. This thing is a $25 light switch and may as well be a surge protector with a single output. I’ve attempted connecting my Android, iPhone, Tablet and iPhone to get this thing to work. Total waste of time and money. The app, plunge and instructions are poorly designed and horribly crafted. I would have been better off sticking my tongue in the socket, for true enlightenment. This is a drag through and through.

Mediocre Device

Filmteknik

I picked this up cheap with no real purpose for it in mind. It worked okay in testing. As it was sitting around I decided to put it on a PC at my business in case I ever would have the need to remotely power cycle it. If I open the app it will tell me the device is off even though I know it’s on. I can tell the app to turn it on with no disruption and then if I want to I can really turn it off. Okay, I can live with that. Just ignore that initial off indication and if there is any doubt I can always remote in to the PC to verify it is indeed on. But as others have stated, having left the device alone for a while when I opened the app today it told me the device was offline. It was still physically in on mode - I was right there next to it - but it would not reconnect until I unplugged and plugged it back in. There was no indication from the lighted button that it was offline. So overall this device is pretty useless. Maybe if you have a special need in the coming day or two it will serve that purpose but no long term use. Find another brand. Alas readers of this review probably already own the mediocre device.
