I've been a complacent user of IRCCloud since they opened it up to the public. "GREAT!", I thought as I shut down my self hosted IRC bouncer and hacky push notification plugin, happy to fork over $5 a month to drop that burden. At first all was bliss, app fired right up, notifications came to my pocket in record time, the UI and service were minimal and compliant with my needs. Over time, that honeymoon feeling masked a slow degradation. "I've put up with far worse for my IRC needs in the past!" became a mantra when my server happened to be the crashed one that day. "Computer are hard" I'd mumble to myself when I logged in to see a pile of notifications that I should have looked at hours earlier... If only I had known. "I guess this is fine" chugged through my mind as I waited for the app to load to read and reply to an urgent message, and then find out I had been logged out mysteriously. I guess its time to reassess. This app and service fit my needs for so long, and has now reared its head as a competitor for "worst user experience" as any IRC related project rightfully should. Goodbye IRCCloud, I need to go set up a bouncer again... wire up those hacky push notifications, and apologize to everyone I recommended you to.

Connectivity 100% of the time combined with being able to use multiple devices simultaneously (including browsers!) and being able to upload photos and videos to be hosted and automatically linked by IRCcloud make this app incredible. It is well worth the $5/month subscription fee.

Version 3.3 is horrible I have problems connecting to servers now to chat. I can't connect or customize my settings anymore! Horrible update

I have frequent connection issues with this latest version of irccloud that can only be resolved by uninstalling and reinstalling the app. How long is it going to be before you fix this?

I cannot connect the app using my phones cellular service for a week.
Was good until...

Now every time I try to message I get an error code saying "cannot send to channel (no external messages)"

I've been looking for an app for the IRC, and this is no doubt the one I needed. If you look at other IRC apps, they've all got reviews that say it's bad and crashes, and most of those aren't even free. I've had no problems with IRCcloud.
