Great product

Better and faster than a scanner. Less expensive as well. Software works without scan box also, I have used it for a few 5x7 and 8x10 pics.

Not a good system

iTunes524

Not sure where the 4 star reviews are coming from unless they're from the developers of this system themselves. The resolution of this system is bad. The final pics from negatives are even worse. Don't think you're gonna use this system and get great digital pictures, muchless print outs. This is an objective review. I'm not trying to put anyone or anything.

So mad

Marcie702

I just received my scanner, which I was super excited for. I brought out my big box of negatives. I am so disappointed, and will be returning the scanner. The quality is HORRIBLE!!!!!

Omg

This is so confusing

Not as awesome as it sounds.

The hardware is fine And makes for easy conversion of slides - color isn't good on picture conversion even with white balance adjust. The software does not function- just take pics with the iPhone camera and edit them yourself - the app is FREE but not helpful or functional- I will delete it. I will keep the scanning box because it was a gift, if I bought it I would return.

Great app

I just received my scanner early today and tried it on old negatives. It worked wonderful. The effect of the scanned item looks like those taken on Instagram.

Waste of money!!

The images scanned are blurry and choppy. When I click save is says The image is saved into my iPhone. But nothing gets saved. I want my money back.

Amazing!

This works perfectly for me with pictures as well as negatives! I love the ipics2go photo scanner and both that and the app are super easy to use!

Good but flaky needs an edit button!

The Carilloneur

I really like the scanning box and I like the app, BUT the app needs a update that allows for editing. Sometimes when I hit save it goes to editing mode sometimes not. Needs to have a dedicated button to go to edit mode! Oh and you posters complaining about image quality....it's the phone!!!! The output is only as great as your iPhones camera no matter what box you use.

Fair - use phone camera to capture image

Photo box is good to stabilize camera and hold pics, but the app itself was not very good. It didn't save to the photo library, so glad I emailed them to myself as a precaution. The app also kept color correcting, but the "correction" wasn't very good so I kept undoing it before saving. Also, sometimes the framing was weird, so it would cut off heads - required rotating the pic in the tray so it cut off at the bottom vs the top, which was less of an issue. Overall, I agree with what some others said - just use your regular phone camera to snap the pic. I got the box unit basically for free, so I'll keep it, mostly because it helps to stabilize the images.
