50/50

Selfmath

I bought this off of Groupon for 67% off. Regular price was $59.99 and I got it for $19.99. Because I bought it for cheap I will keep it and not return it. It's not a bad gadget or idea. It's basically a mini scanner at a decent price. The quality of the "scan"/iPhone camera isn't bad but the auto color correction is horrible. You have to undo it before you save it to get the best look. The App is boring and plain. that really needs work. The best feature is the ability to scan and bring negatives into actual picture format and colors. That's pretty cool. Over all I am 50/50 with it.

Finally It Works

I got my ipics at a really good price. Got it home and MAN... The thing wouldn't save my pics to my phone. So I called the support line. One simple thing on your phone: in settings click on privacy then photos. If your icon for ipics2go is OFF click to ON. From there it should work like a charm. When u first down load the app it ask to allow for notifications r something like that well I always hit don't allow and that was the problem. My only thing is it edits ur pic on the color so to try and get it just like the original u have to edit and play around with the color to get what u want. But over all I'll keep it, we're a Fam full of iPhones so it'll get used often.

Ugh!!

I spent over 3 hours scanning my photos only to realize it didn't save any of my pics! So not cool! You really need to let your customers know to change the setting! Other than that, it's pretty cool way to save ur photos to ur phone.

Works great actually!

Works exactly as advertised. I noticed a lot of comments regarding the app NOT saving the photos to the camera roll, make sure you allow the app access to your photos when it asks. If not check the settings/permissions! And make sure the 3x5 tray is pulled out before scanning slides/negatives.

If all else fails- u know

What a great combination. And what a great price. How often does this happen you buy something and you're really satisfied you didn't get ripped off and it works better than just taking a stupid picture with your camera. good job guys! Derf

Poor Quality Negatives

BeeDee1089

The system takes great scans of printed photos, but so does the scanner on my computer. I got this system to use my phone to bring negatives to life. Big disappointment. Do NOT expect good, or even acceptable, scans from negatives. They are grainy and pixelated. VERY grainy and pixelated, to the point of uselessness.

Worst software app ever

Iced_Tea72

I don't usually leave feedbacks and ratings normally. This product has motivated me to do so to warn others. The idea and the box is a great idea. Whereas the software app just simply not working. I made the purchase for my mother, thinking it would be wonderful to have such device to help her preserve memories of the past. First thing was that the batteries are dead on arrival, then The picture taken with the app would cut off the wrong side of photo where the frame is. Alternatively I use the native photo app on iphone. Made a quick edit and it turns out to be much better in the color and obviously not cut off "automatically". After-all, it was the feature I felt my non-techie mother could benefit from. This was the second purchase on Groupon, will be looking for a refund like the first purchase. Stay away from such "deals".

hoax!

It never worked at all!!!!!! This is a joke!!!! I want my money back!!!!

Needs an update for iOS7

JTFlyboy

Just received the iPICS2GO as a birthday present, however the App crashes every time after you take the picture. This would be an OK product if they would update their App, allow for adjusting the crop line for the picture or negative & make it adjustable for the newer phones like iPhone 5's +.

Pics don't save

WooW Productions

I purchased this on groupon because the price was right and I had tons of negatives I wanted to put on my phone. At first I thought my negatives didn't have color but when I saved them to edit, there was color. Awesome! However, after done editing the pictures nothing saves. The program shuts down and loses the scan. I read reviews and it said to make sure the privacy setting was on and it was. So I guess I'm not really understanding what the deal is. I restarted my phone and reinstalled the app. Must be a bug or something. Hoping an update is coming soon.
