The reason I’m giving the new version 3 stars is because in my opinion it does not operate nearly as smoothly as the original. But I think maybe if I was just playing this game for the first time I wouldn’t be as critical. But I’m going to keep playing and give this new version a chance. It does seem better this morning (nov. 7th) than it was late yesterday. But the navigation is extremely laggy. Update: August 1 2019: I don’t see why this game only has 2.5 stars. Many of the original problems have been fixed and gameplay is going smoothly for me. I’m now giving it 4 stars.

You can now adjust the lighting in app! Also I love the fast linking in prime and capsule naming too

Only wanted to get this for Pokestops

I wanted to get to lvl 10 through this app to add more “portals” so my town would start getting pokestops. I don’t have portals nearby anywhere so I’m stranded from both games unless I go on a vacation. Massive disadvantage to play this game (especially just so you can enjoy their other, primary game) if you live out in a rural area. Will improve rating if this MASSIVE ISSUE improves.

1) Can’t see time/battery bar while app is opened 2) can’t skip animations 3) gliches with COMM tabs, never works from the first tap 4) can’t open iphone’s menu when ingress is running, because the gesture “swipe up from the bottom of scree” opens COMM in ingress instead of “iphone’s quick menu”
