Excellent video player that supports multiple format

Ian

This app extends the functionality of my iPhone and Apple TV by supporting video formats that would otherwise be unplayable. Couldn't be happier with it!

Great interface & features

Tobermory1

A really nice looking app. The gesture controls are very handy. I like that it pulls in the cover art and other details for the movies and TV episodes, and it makes downloading subtitles easy too. And it has licensed AC3 support which is essential for me. AirPlay works great. And I can delete files I no longer need on my network share, right from the app.

Great App !

Nag

Constantly nags me to rate it. So it gets a 1.

Decent, but poor support

Infuse could be great, if its programmers wanted it to be. Its quite serviceable as it is now, but it's bugs are annoying. If you want to download metadata about the movies and shows you have, Infuse is happy to do that. And if you don't? Tough! The program has a switch to turn that off, but it doesn't work. Name your files in a format that's similar to what the program uses when it's looking for metadata, and it will download metadata anyway, and put in wrong descriptions and images for your files! True story: the program's support team suggested that I just rename hundreds of files instead of them fixing their bug! So now I have a 1970's Columbo TV show that has an image and description from a 1940's movie. I don't want that, but the app refuses to turn off the metadata collection, and the developers refuse to acknowledge the bug. I have this problem regularly with all sorts of files that are on my NAS, even when those files have their own cover art, Infuse ignores it. If you don't care about that type of annoyance and a support team that puts the onus on you to work around their bugs, you might like this app. It's quite useful. It's just not polished and professional.

Very good player!

I'll stop short of calling it perfect, but it is very good. Feature requests are being slowly implemented. Works really well.
