Using special low frequency pulsing sounds we can trick the brain into thinking its time for rest or sleep. The amplitude and sound localization of a perceived sound when two tones at slightly different frequencies are presented separately. Best heard using headphones.

Needs to remember setting, have wind storm sounds

The selection of sounds is pretty shallow is you’re not interested in city sounds or thunderstorms. I like wind storms and rain but not thunder. Oh well. Settings need to be remembered from one session to the next but instead once you press stop, pressing play again just gives you the base sound and you have to start all over with adding stuff. Another nitpick: I paid for the HD sound pac but it sounds exactly the same to me. I don’t feel like I got anything for my money.

I have had this app for years and bought the super rain, meditation, and another audio package that’s not even offered anymore when they first came out. /Now/ you’re telling me that I have to pay for them again?! I was just using Heavy Storm the other night! I need to be able to customize the sounds-this isn’t right! Edit: also, I can’t just use the contact us link because it’s /also/ broken. I had already tried that, but clicking it crashes the app. Nice job

The new UI isn’t intuitive, and settings aren’t remembered. The new sound sleep/timer function is confusing and overall it’s clunky to use. I liked it better when it wasn’t over-engineered.

CAN’T FALL ASLEEP. Rain style changes after ten minutes and KEEPS ME AWAKE. Wish I knew that before I tried to fall asleep with it... that was a four-hours of sleep night. Thanks man.

Love this app. New design makes it hard to not be blinded in the middle of the night. Sounds automatically switches from whatever you had it on to Classic if you get a phone call while it’s running.

Please bring back independent volume controls, I would like to be able to adjust storm volume as well as my music's volume. This app was perfect with that feature!!

This app works wonderfully. It has a myriad of different rain sounds (heavy, light, on sheet metal, etc.) and does a great job at helping me sleep. Furthermore, you can play the rain sounds while listening to your own music. I'm stoked I found this app. Oh, final note: the app design is intuitive and actually quite pretty. Only improvement: please bring back the individual adjustments for master volume versus rain volume (so I can control how loud the rain is relative to the sleep music I'm playing). Thank you again!

This was always my favorite app because they gave me all the options over whay I was listening to. Then they updated the app and now I have fewer, harder to use options. Even more frustrating is their decision to change the sounds I set it on to mediation music. There's no setting to stop this. As a result, I've been waking up irritated from having to open the app several times to change my settings back to what I selected. Sadly, it's time to look for an alternative.
