Confusing interface and where’s the timer?

While creating a routine, the interface shows my first exercise at the top of the screen, unable to be edited or even deleted. It’s almost like a glitch. And I got this app for the potential for having multiple types of planks, which it does, but where’s the timer??? I hope the timer is added to this app because I would’ve bought this for little to no reason
