The Classic Game on iOS

This is the real thing, a implementation of Nethack on iOS devices that makes respectable use of the devices' touch capabilities. It is steeped in game-play, a classic implement of hack-and-slay D&D with legendary amounts of depth, danger and humour that has allowed this game to survive the decades. You can even turn the Nostalgia up to 11 by playing with the basic ASCII tiles.

THIS IS THE BEST FANTASY GAME EVER MADE hands down but the most recent version is now 3.6.0 not 3.4.3 so instead of 5 stars this is getting 1 so that maybe an update will come out that would be awesome

Waited soooo long for this update for Apple with real net hack foibles first played on a Mac 128 k and loved it then got it on Windows but the Mac versions are easier on the eye thanks for caring and sharing!
Keeps losing my game!

I know one of the points of nethack is that you can't save and restore the game, but you guys need to put some better code in here to handle switching apps. It's pretty damned frustrating to be starting the class quest, getting a text message, coming back to the app and getting the GD choose a class screen. There are enough YASD opportunities built into the game already without adding to them.
