Indispensable

This app has become an indispensable part of my Home Automation system. I need to be able to see the values of a number of variables when I am away from the house, and this app allows me to do that. Now if the developer would just add geofencing capability, it would be perfect.

I use the app in conjunction with a complex home system with 50 or so switches, a dozen controllers, and 50 or so conditional schedules (evening lights on etc). The initial hardware (17 years ago) was X10 based, but about 50% has now been replaced by Insteon dimmer switches. Indigo perfectly supports this mixed technology allowing me a smooth and inexpensive transition. The app is very simple to use and works extremely well. The technical support team is fantastic. Both in their expertise and the responsiveness. The one thing I would recommend them to add is the Home Pod, Alexa, and Google voice interface for the app. Perhaps initially just HomePod as it is in the same echo system. Special kudos to Matt from the tech team who expertly debugged en error caused by another Mac that ran in the background an old and long forgotten Indigo server.

Apple Watch is no longer supported. Actually it hasn’t been supported for some time and I was waiting patiently for an update. My patience is running out. Come on Home Remote.

I love this app. It makes controlling my home with the Indigo software easy and has been extremely stable and reliable. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is the lack of ability to use the entire iPhone X screen.

Been using for years can’t say enough good things about this app. Timers, motion, lights ceiling fans oh my. Still looking for ways to save energy and time and just have the coolest, simplest, secure daily routine. One tap can do so many things.
