This is how it should always have worked! Love how quick and easy it is to turn things on or off as well as dim things. Much simpler UI than before. Puts my devices front and center.
Installed this on two iPhone 6s and had problems on both. Wrote intemperate negative review which I now withdraw. After that I eliminated this update from both phones and restored it. Now works and works beautifully. Don't know what I did wrong with first installations. This app is a real joy and improvement over previous version (which is still pretty good -- still running that on an older phone that I don't update). James Eason
Been anticipating this update for a long time and it delivers. Well thought out GUI and controls. Fantastic… now if we can get Apple Watch support that’d be massive!
These guys are listening to there users! Particularly appreciate the log feature.
I use this app all the time. It is very well designed and reliable.
It has been a long time since this was updated. Great job on this version. Indigo is an outstanding home automation system for the amateur or pro.
The indigo server software is an amazing way to control home automation. The iPad and iPod program just makes it that much better. Incredibly responsive company, I highly recommend this entire package.
Let me start by saying that Indigo is by far the most flexible, powerful, yet easy to use home automation platform available on the Mac. It allows for the seamless integration of IP and RF-based protocols including ZWave and Insteon/X10. It is definitely worth the (somewhat steep) price. That being said, Perceptive Automation is a very small company (only 2 guys, last I heard) and as such they can be quite slow to deliver on updates and new features to their iOS app — though when they do deliver eventually, they often exceed expectations. This app underwent a major overhaul about a year ago, adding many new and much needed features and a great facelift as well. That being said, there have been very few updates since — mostly bug fix/maintenance releases. Most disappointingly, Apple Watch and Notification Center widget support have still not been added. This is the primary reason for my 4-star review. From reading around on the Indigo forums, it appears that the slow pace of updates is because Matt and Jay devote most of their time/energy to the Mac server/client. This is understandable and certainly made the most sense back when home automation was in its infancy. But as HomeKit and competing HA platforms bring iOS/mobile devices to the center of HA, Indigo will need to devote more resources to their iOS app to remain relevant.
Update - down graded one more star, where is teh Apple Watch app? If you don't think an Apple Watch app is highly desirable, then you must not have an Apple Watch. This is a nice companion to the Mac app, but 6 months into Apple Watch, where is the watch app? Please? Also, for a rapidly changing field like this no updates since April is a bit troubling.
Indigo Touch lets me easily control almost everything in my home. The ability to simply input a floor plan with icon touch switches was amazing. I can't wait for the new subscription service with Prism and Watch support. The developers provide great support both on-line and personal.
