Works fine for booking fights but there are bugs in other parts

One major bug is it doesn’t show my current and past bookings correctly; I can only see one when I have many more. The app also constantly bugs me to grant location access. How about taking no for an answer?

We booked a ticket under students criteria where indigo states that it provides a 25kg baggage per student. We selected students did the tickets and when we reached the check in counter we were told that we aren’t booked under student even though we had all our student ids. We kept requesting them to somehow accomodate us or give us a different flight if not this but they weren’t helping us in any way and were asking us to make a payment of 8000 rupees when the two tickets cost us 7800. On telling them that we cannot afford it they asked us to call our parents to pay the excess baggage fee. As our parents dont stay here, we briefed them about our situation that we had no money. The indigo manager at guwahati airport kept smiling and said I cannot do anything about it . That is not my problem. She asked us to take out 20 kgs and carry it if we cannot pay the excess baggage fees. They asked us to put 20 kgs in carry on baggage even when we did not have any luggage to put the 20 kgs. They told us to arrange it somehow and that it was not their problem. We are entitled to 50 kgs per student fare and they kept demanding money for the extra 20kgs by charging us normal fare for 30 kgs. Very disappointing behavior by the airline. I would give you 0 stars if i could, but 1 is the least it allows me. Pure extortion scheme by indigo. This is extremely filthy behavior. They wasted our time and did not even pay the cancellation fees or refunds by engaging us for 2 hours and then telling us that cancellation fees can only be done before 2 hours of the flight, even though we had arrived much earlier.
App Login, Save, and Refresh Issues

The app has a number of issues that need to be fixed ASAP: 1) Error message upon login using a U.S. phone number to generate an OTP 2) Inability to save my mobile phone number correctly even after repeatedly entering it. The app undoes my previous entry and rewrites it with distorted information with the country code and phone number intertwined, resulting in incorrect information. Please retain the information entered by users exactly as provided for data integrity. 3) Previous itineraries continue to be shown under My Bookings weeks after they have been used or flown. Please address the app’s refresh functionality.

Lack clarity in the flight selection steps. Could be better color selection for inward and outward flight segments.
Can’t login after sign up

I can’t setup password while signing up and later cannot login! Such a worst design! Change your IT team or the vendor with whom you are working!
Nice looking yet USELESS App

One of the main purpose of the airline app would be to be able to check in painlessly. This app does anything BUT that. I have tried at least 10 different times to put the PNR and the last name or email address. Every time it says it is an invalid number. On all instances I had to go to my laptop browser and checkin. It works on the browser every time! I thought there might have been a temp glitch but over a period of 1 year, this is just incompetence.
