Meh

Osarra

Horrible logo sorry. The "underline" as stated In the podcast does not look like an underline. An actual underline would have looked better. (Graphic designer here). Ads now clutter up the app. Less recent stories. No swipe back action anymore. Confusing layout. Ugly yellow!! Still great content but not satisfied

Don't care for the new iMore app

IMTruckzilla

IMore has always been a great source of information. Prior to this new app, the information was there and readily available. Now you have to drift around and it's really more of a visual experience than actually getting solid information on what's happening in the Mac world.

Search…?

Deploying this app without search functionality is hostile to your users. It's like serving pasta with no silverware. What's wrong with you?

Content is improving

I understand that iMore has made the decision to release the app as they are transitioning to a new structure. Today (12May17) the information appears to be more accessible than earlier. Features I am pleased are now available: 1) Saving articles; 2) Tips. Changes I believe would significantly improve iMore's 'Ultimate Guides' is to have the entire content in the 'Guide' not just a plethora of links. The Buy Guides should include the most recent MacBooks, iPads, iPhones, not just accessories (say, at the beginning of a product, having links to the product (e.g., a) iPhone 7, iPhone SE; b) Accessories. I just hope the lack of features (e.g., Search) is due to the fact iMore is still implementing/testing/etc features, content, etc.

Can't delete old reviews in App Store

The recent update to the iMore has its positives but in its current state has as many drawbacks. One positive is that arguably the aesthetics has been improved. Where the old version was good looking with a white background interface one could argue the news feed was a bit packed. Here the interface is given more space with a less comprehensive listing of articles. This also can be seen as a negative by users like me where there is much less content to read now. Even when choosing the more stories button users are only given a few additional articles instead of the most current 100 articles. Organization of article type is definitely improved here with users able to select articles based on different categories such as Accessories, Toys, Vehicles and more. The bottom tabs of the interface allows readers to navigate by recent content, Buy Guides, Tips and Saved Articles. The more casual reader benefits more I think getting a better idea of all the market segments that Apple targets and not feeling as intimidated with all of the articles presented in a scroll down manner. A big plus is the ability to save articles now. This is something readers like me have been asking for. The one huge drawback for me is the loss of the last 100 presented articles. It is nice to have the option of going back to articles from the past week instead of just the past couple of days which is true for most of the categories. I would like iMore to add a feature section which are editorial takes on recent Apple Events or news. I find these to be the most interesting content from the site. The app could organize even further with a Sweepstakes section, a Daily Sales section as well as quick connection to iMore's podcasts for those who listen. While there is much to like here the app has a long way to go to match the web site.

Total Garbage Now

This app BEFORE the new update and interface was so much better, easier to navigate and was actually great to use. The new look with the bright yellow and white coloring is horrible and causes me eye strain. Finding stories is hard with no search feature, too many separate areas (just give a quick drop-down option) and the worst part is that you can't get to the forums anymore. I'm all for upgrading to a new and better look/functionality but this is a massive downgrade!

Great update

Enjoying the new design. Would love an option for dark/night mode!

App is much worse since new upgrade

No access to the forums from the app...what a disappointing update! The whole app just feels like a disorganized buyers guide now ☹️
