Good game once you get to know it

It may be confusing at first but once you get enough plays in you'll learn how to play. It's a really well-made game & unlike any other iOS game I've ever played, also since it's single-player you can pick up where you left off after you lock your device Cheers!
Confusing and needs a tutorial

This game makes no sense when you first start so it seems like it is no fun right off the bat. There needs to be a tutorial showing how to play. I had no idea what I was doing for the first 15 minutes and then I quit out of frustration.

I would still be willing to pay an in-app fee to save reloadable progress on a non-leaderboard save every 50 or 100 stars. Thank you for being kind enough to respond, but some characters can't use an amulet, and it would be really nice to start from an advanced position where the game's pace is wild and hectic and the character is established. It would also let us explore what-if options: what if we had powered up this or that tile, or that unfortunate positioning of a monster hadn't happened? Please do buy this game. The developer is brilliant AND as creative and thoughtful about his games.
Great game; Crashes on iOS 11

Imbroglio is a simple, yet engaging game that will keep you coming back. Setting up fun boards to play on is great and the options for how to play are many. Please address the app crashes caused by iOS 11. The app often crashes on startup, but once you get it going (after potentially many tries) it works fine.

Imbroglio and 868-HACK are two of my favorite games (if not THE favorites!). There's nothing like it, and it's very hard to explain the game in a review. Definitely check out some videos, if you're curious. One issue: On my older (and compatible!) iPad 2 running 9.3.5, none of the global player boards will never populate for me to use. They worked before, but the last update seems to have stopped them. I hope this can be fixed! Otherwise, Imbroglio is just fantastic. If only all games on here were this innovative and fun.
My favorite game
TRON-tron
Will always have a place on my phone. This game is incredibly rewarding when you figure out how to succeed. It makes you feel smart. And it's fun. This never gets old.
