Crashes on startup

With the latest updates to iOS iMaschine will no longer open on my iPhone 6s. The app sits for several long moments on the splash screen and then bombs. It’d be great if Native Instruments showed their app more love. When it works iMaschine is top notch.

I am a big native instruments user a.k.a. fan I just want you guys to update to match up or even beat the competitors on the iOS first off let me tell you guys something I have BeatMaker 3 and I also have a MPC pro...BeatMaker 3 is way better than this.. but I feel that I am being un-loyal due to the fact that I’m using other iOS music making apps,I give this 2 Stars Only because we are limited

Update: I just noticed this app hasn't been updated in a whole year. They have time to release new sample packs for us to buy, which I've bought every one of them. But, the app won't work for me at all and just crashes to my home screen every time I try to open it, like I've detailed below in my original review. I wish their priorities were more about keeping the app stable and in working order, than releasing new sample packs for us to buy only. I give you money, for the price of the app and the constant packs I buy. I'd hope you return the favor and fix the app so that I can actually use it please. As I said, it's been a whole year since you've touched this app and that's just straight up neglect in my opinion, bordering on unprofessional. Original Review: iMaschine 2 would normally be a 5-star app in my opinion. But, I can no longer even open the program due to its constant crashing on iOS 11.2.1. I'm running the app on an iPhone 6 Plus and every time I attempt to open it, it loads up the main logo screen then it crashes back to my phone's home screen every single time. Instead of leaving this review, I first tried to email Native Instruments with this bug report. But, I thus far haven't heard back them. And because of that I was hoping that this review would get their attention instead. So, with this crashing it just means that I cannot use an app I paid good money for at all. I would hope and ask please that N.I. please figure out what's causing this bad crashing problem and release an update soon that fixes it. Thanks if you would, I would be very grateful for that. If it wasn't for me not being able to use the app at all. I would most definitely gives iMaschine 2 5-stars as I said. To me, it's absolutely a one-of-a-kind application for creating awesome beats on your Apple devices. I just wish that I could actually still use the program. Thanks if you release a fix for this heinous crashing bug and God bless. iPhone 6 Plus/ iOS 11.2.1

This app was the greatest app music makers using iOS... since iOS 11, the app won’t open which has left severally handicap simple because it was/is a vital part of music production setup. I can’t believe I’m giving this app a 2 star! Smh.

After Deleting the app and reinstalling it it opens up every time now but guess what I lost all of my tracks that I’ve worked on I work every single kid pack for this app in the developers has not updated in over a year!! I want my tracks back or my money back thank you.
Needs some updates in iOS 11.

If your phone locks, iMaschine has no sound. I’ve used this app for years and this is new and annoying. Please fix this. Also I agree with other commenters that the 3D Touch needs a way to be turned off.

Edit: app crashes and won’t open on iPhone SE half of the time! Please fix! Original review: This is a cool and great sounding app. Here's a wish list of features for NI to include in next update: 1. The ability to add a fade to the end of samples to reduce noise and the occasional "click" at the end of user made / chopped up samples. 2. The ability to fine tune the tuning of a sample with an actual numeric value so that multiple chopped portions of loops could all be tuned to exact same value instead guessing with the visual slider. 3. Actual EQ for individual samples instead of just the filters available for tracks now. 4. The ability to separate stereo samples into two separate mono samples that can be panned anywhere in the stereo field. Thanks for a cool app! Look forward to more updates and sounds!

it’s a great app if your just getting started into beat making or music production. it’s noted that this app is just a stepping stone but it can be so much more especially for newbies like myself. the process of sampling is aggravating and we “need” more tracks. if y’all ever update this app i really hope that you can meet the request of your customers/extended native instruments family. thank you...
