Broken Abandonware; Needs Update?

AvengerPod

Seems to be abandonware, sadly. The app is simply broken - regardless of where you left off reading, if you open it up again it often tries to start in the store rather than where you were reading, and it hangs trying to load the store if your internet connectivity isn’t perfect, possibly for minutes at a time!! It is also astonishingly slow to start up in general, especially if you have more issues downloaded. Worst of all, the sort function usually doesn’t work, so issues aren’t sorted properly by issue number even when you select ‘sort by publication date.’ Developers are completely and totally unresponsive - these issues have persisted for more than a year, with no fix in sight! Lastly it is astonishing that there is no search function of any kind - seriously, a digital collection without search? You should be able to search for articles, artists, topics, article types, etc.! I wish the app worked properly, since the magazine itself is brilliant. :(

Broken

After about a year of subscription and buying all the back issues. The app completely stopped working. Denying me access to my entire library of magazines. I unsubscribed to the service for the time being?. Since I actually can’t use what I’ve paid for.

Killer Magazine!

AppleFanTara

I'm rating the magazine itself rather than the app, because the app is all about the magazine itself. This magazine provides a lot of inspiration and instruction for digital artists. I absolutely love it! The app is frustrating. I wish I could display magazine issues in a grid view instead of the swipe bar at the bottom. It would be much easier to find back issues to purchase if that were the case.

Love the magazine love the app

Needs an intuitive bookmarking system.

Great iPad Magazine

FredWallace

I really like carrying all my back issues with me for reference. Wish there was a dynamic, composite index/cross reference of all issues so I could quickly go to my topic of interest.

This is a nice app. Unfortunately it gets even more packed with so much it makes it so very worth it! God bless.
