Broken App, Needs Update? – ImagineFX Review

The app is simply broken - regardless of where you left off reading, if you open it up again it frequenly tries to start in the store rather than where you were reading, and it hangs trying to load the store if your internet connectivity isn’t perfect, possibly for minutes at a time. It is also astonishingly slow to start up in general, especially if you have more issues downloaded. Worst of all, the sort function usually doesn’t work, so issues aten’t sorted properly by issue number even when you select ‘sort by publication date.’ Developers are completely unresponsive - these issues have persisted for months, with no fix in sight! Lastly it is astonishing that there is no search function of any kind - seriously, a digital collection without search? You should be able to search for articles, artists, topics, article types, etc.! I wish the app worked properly, since the magazine itself is brilliant.
